Londoners are clearly so angry with Sadiq Khan over ULEZ (Ultra Light Emmissions Zone), that they they seem determined to turf him out and get the policy reversed.

Jeremy Corbyn is a further complication for Labour.

In the 2019 general election, Sir Keir Starmer not only backed Corbyn for Prime Minister, but ostentatiously called him his friend.

However, once voters rejected Corbyn, Sir Keir moved swifty to purge Corbynism and Corbynites from the Labour party.

Changing policies after a defeat is normal and natural, indeed it would be worrying if they didn't. But purging people for disagreeing with you is unusual, especially as only a few years ago, Sir Keir was full of praise for them.

Corbyn got banned from standing for re-election to Parliament, even though he has been an MP for 40+ years and his constituents like him. He is understandably bitter and has indicated he will run for London mayor as an independant spoiler candidate.
