It does get difficult to discuss issues with professionals, issues they see everyday, cause they are normal issues to them but life or death like to us. Still if I put on my Indian cynical hat I will say the advice by doctor was good because,

  1. the costs was less, so no advantage for doctor to suggest the cheaper option unless it is the right one, and,
  2. if a professional suggest some other option then i feel only choice we have is to accept the offer or go to another professional. cause if something goes wrong I will forever be thinking if that professional was not sure of the procedure or was reacting to my pressure.

At the end of the day though I hope the path you chose was right and you have got some relief from the constant pain.

So far so good my friend, but she left me the choice a very small one but I could have said take it out anyway.
But indeed she did not go for cash, she went for professional and that was what I respected the most. thanks for a great comment !PIMP
