On Nov 20th, the state of Texas acquired $5 million dollars worth of Bitcoin via Blackrock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), with plans to self-custody in the future.
Texas follows New Hampshire and Arizona who already enacted strategic "digital asset" reserves earlier this year.
