The reason why we feel like we are distance from God sometimes is because of our personal problems like sin, doubt, over busyness and lack of spiritual discipline.

Talk to a trusted and good spiritual leader or a mature believers who can offer you with support and advice.
Seek God through prayers and read the scriptures for better understanding and ask God for forgiveness and also make a solid step to align your life and will with his.
