God's will is what God wants us to do, we are expected to accept God and believe in him, always go to church and study his word and also put what we learnt in practice.
Doing God's will include loving one another, forgiving people who offended you, telling the truth in any condition you find yourself also giving helping hands to people who need it.
Avoid bad friends and also respect your parents include people who senior you and don't treat people bad.

You can stop doing bad things only if you decide in yourself that you want to stop it and most importantly with the help of God, doing bad things is not the way of God, is the devil's way of life.
Like lying, cheating, killing, getting yourself involved with drugs and so many things.
And also those that do bad things will never make heaven. Is really necessary and important for us to turn away from our wrong doings and accept Jesus because with him we are secured and also the have the right to answer God's child.

So brethren stopping bad things and doing God's will is only the way to a successful life and once God is with you there is no falling back.
