Time Management
Hello guys, my name is blemmy89. I am very excited to write in the hive Ghana community. And I must confess that all the topics for week 119 are very important and interesting topics that touch on every aspect of our daily life as humans.
If I have my way, I would have loved to make entry on all the three topics but for circumstances beyond my control, I will be writing on one of the topics which is time management.
Learning to manage our time as humans is an essential skill we all need to learn and master. 24 hours is given to everyone in a day, for some 24 hours is enough while for others it is not enough and for some, it is too much. It is our ability to adequately manage the time we have that determines how much we are able to achieve in a day, week, month, year and even in life.
Appropriate time management is what determines our productivity in life. There is a saying that time waits for no one, hence the need to discuss or talk about time management. For me, I see anyone who has mastered the act of time management as someone who has won half of life's battle. Because there is nothing such an individual sets his or her mind to do that will not get done.
A lot of people have been constrained and limited in life due to poor time management. They desire to learn new skills, build meaningful relationships, take a course, start a new business and the list goes on, but couldn't achieve any of their desires. The complain has always been there is no time. Meanwhile, other people in the same or similar situation as they, are achieving and doing a lot with the same time with in their disposal.
I chose to write on time management because I know that I am still a work in progress in that area and writing on the topic will help me discover grey areas I need to work on and new tips to help me be on top of the game.
But so far, I have some strategies I have deployed to help me manage my time better. And it has been working for me, you can also give it a try if you wish.
The first strategy is waking up early. Starting my day early helps me to achieve more.
The second strategy is planning ahead and staying focused. I plan my activities for each day ahead of time with out giving room for unnecessarily interference.
The third strategy is that I don't move about aimlessly, and I don't entertain unprofitable discussion.
The fourth strategy is multi tasking, that is doing different things at the same time. For example, I can be doing laundry, cooking and helping the kids out with their homework.
The last but not the least is that I have learned over the years to burn night candles. Staying up late into the night has been my greatest strength in achieving some of the things that ordinarily I wouldn't have achieved given to circumstances around me.
These strategies have greatly helped me to adequately manage my time and to become a more productive person.

Good entry. All the strategies you used were powerful about time management.
Lack of time management skills is our major problem today. Alot of people wake up in the money and think that there is still time and so they will just be moving up and down doing nothing serious.
