1/2 Netflix just dropped a bombshell that's shaking the entire entertainment industry. Their new series features VFX created entirely by generative AI. Is this innovation... or the end of art as we know it? It's a huge debate, seriously. #threadstorm #grindsquad #duo #dook #aideep

2/2 The article, https://www.rudebaguette.com/en/2025/07/this-isnt-art-its-algorithmic-propaganda-netflixs-genai-vfx-in-new-series-sparks-industry-backlash-and-fan-revolt/, dives deep into the backlash—creators are furious, fans are revolting. On one hand, it's faster, cheaper. On the other, is this the path to algorithmic propaganda instead of genuine art? I'm thinking, what do you think this means for human creativity and jobs in Hollywood?

Eternaut. I watched the clip, and tbh I think it is visible that it is AI, but I don't think a VFX team would have done it so much better so the salary would be worth it

Ted Sarandos confirmed that VFX is created with generative AI. Looks like VFX artist jobs going down.
