The Day I Broke the Mold: A Tale of Taking Initiative and Learning

It doesn't matter what you do or where you live, if you work anywhere or even in your family, you want to stand out from others, whether through your actions or your style. Everyone keeps trying different things to appear different and many people are attention seekers many people remain very innocent despite knowing a lot and even pretend that they do not know anything and also Don't even want attention. There are all kinds of people around us, not everyone is the same, some want attention and some don't want attention. But everyone's viewpoint on anything is different, it is not necessary that the next person thinks the same as I think or even has different thoughts. Yes, some people think the same but everyone can't think the same. It becomes like that.

When I started working in the initial days, I did not have much knowledge about this field, but I had some knowledge about computers and I used to earn a little by repairing and installing computers. Yes, I would not call myself a professional but still, I used to manage my pocket money so this was enough for me. When I started working, I did not know much about the software but I thought that I would install it and probably there would be no problem. At that time, my boss mostly used to install the software in all the systems, so our team used to be very small, there used to be only about 7 to 8 people, but now it has increased to 40. My boss had installed the software on the computer but it was not completely installed. He had to go out of the city for an urgent meeting, so he left it halfway.

At that time, when I was new there, I was feeling very interested in working in software, so I could not control myself. All my office colleagues advised me not to tamper with it and if I wanted to do some other work, If it is then you could do it, I replied yes but I thought that if I installed it further then perhaps the installation would be completed here by the time Sir arrives. And here maybe there will be a plus point for me also. Most of the existing installs already prevented me from doing so, but I surreptitiously decided to install the software anyway.
However, I did not know that after adding some additional software, there would be a need to enter there. When the installation was about to finish, the option to enter the keys came up, so I got a little nervous and thought that maybe I had done something wrong, this happened about 4 years ago. What happened was that I uninstalled all the software I had installed and also deleted all the data from the C drive permanently. And I thought that maybe next week whenever sir come, they will install the new software and everything will become normal. But exactly the opposite happened, when Sir came back the next week, as soon as he turned on the system for installation, he asked where the software I had kept in it had gone.

I replied sir, I had tried it but it didn't work so I uninstalled it, now he got a little angry and said who told you to leave it then he also told my seniors why you let it mess with the computer. The problem was that if you wanted to reinstall the software, you would have to install a new window. They told you so at the time, but now you can reinstall the software even without uninstalling Windows. At that time I did not know much about it but now I have learned a lot about the software and if any problem arises, I solve it most of the time.

That day he got very angry with me and then my senior also told that we had already told you that there was no need to do anything if you are not asked to do it. I felt bad after a day and then I decided that from then on Unless someone asks about something, you don't have to tell anything to anyone, nor do you have to install or remove anything here of your own will. That day I learned that you should not give your opinion unless you are asked for help. Yes, sometimes it is necessary to do this, but if you are not being asked then you should remain silent. Sometimes remaining silent, is a better choice. What do you think about this?
