There are many reasons why a particular flower becomes a favorite.

Sometimes the emphasis is not on the aroma like the aroma of cultivated carnations lilies and roses or how long-lasting the flowers are in bouquets and do not fade for a long time peonies and dahlias give a lot of fragrant flowers on one bush.

There are flowers about which poems have been written or they have become part of fairy tales like the water lily in which Thumbelina was born.

And there are flowers that no one will remember at all they will not be on the list of favorite flowers if you ask a person about his preferences among flowers.

You know in some ways flowers can be compared with domestic and wild animals.

Domestic animals have been tamed but wild animals are untamable, poultry is more tender in soup and with the meat of a wild bird you need to work with your teeth.

So I want to mention a wonderful wild man from the plant world an alien from Australia who settled on the Eurasian continent and settled in the meadows this flowering plant is Échium of the Boraginaceae family and we call it by the name of the mark after a blow under the eye lol - a bruise!

This plant is one of those that is better not to touch not to pick or smell but simply to admire its beauty from a distance because this plant contains cyanides a strong poison that is deadly to humans.

I often saw these flowers and their structure fascinated me and when I saw these flowers at the end of autumn covered with frost crystals I could not tear my eyes away from them.

I think I am not alone in thinking this flower is beautiful because bees are of the same opinion and although this plant is full of poison the nectar of this flower and pollen are safe in sweet honey collected in meadows where these plants are abundant.

Yes, I will not see this flower in bouquets or on my windowsill in a flowerpot but this is one of my favorite flowers.

Zoom in on a photo for a closer view.

Material thoughts about beekeeping №1

When I visited dense forests, I did not see ideal conditions for bees there, but many beekeepers harvest beekeeping products in such places.
