Simple dreams.
Simple dreams.
It's difficult to say which dreams are simple and which are complex, as it's very individual.
For some, dreaming of a piece of bread is difficult, while for others, dreaming of a sports car is very simple.
Two people can both dream of a pedigree cat, but for one, it will be simple, while for the other, it will be complex.
For example, right now I'm dreaming of cool weather and rain; it's too hot today.
And after the rain, if, suddenly, I dream of a sports car, I won't resist too much.

Material thoughts about beekeeping №1
When I visited dense forests, I did not see ideal conditions for bees there, but many beekeepers harvest beekeeping products in such places.

Sometimes the simplest things, like a quiet afternoon, a little rain, or even just having peace of mind, can be more valuable than expensive possessions. Sometimes wishes turn into goals...for me, just having an art studio would be enough😅
I know people who have moved to places (like Hawaii or the Philippines) where permanent housing and the comforts of modern civilization are considered entirely secondary—or even unnecessary—and a simple shelter to keep the rain off is enough. Yet, you’ll find just as many people there as anywhere else who are keen to learn how to draw or paint... So, what’s standing in the way of you realizing your dream? Especially if it’s the main dream of your life! :)

The real answer is money. I’ve been drawing all my works recently on cardboard or paper, and I don’t have enough money for my new collection to paint on canvas. In the past, the costs of buying supplies were better, and it was possible to paint on canvas. Many times it happens that I paint over my old paintings, which are valuable beyond measure; I put white paint on the canvas, and the old painting gets buried under a layer of paint.
History knows many people who sought happiness in the wrong places—for instance, Abraham looked for happiness in Egypt and nearly lost his wife... You need to be very clear about your direction—do you want money, or an art studio?—before you go placing your dream on the altar :)
With money, you can have an art gallery, can't you?
And if you don’t have the money for a gallery, you could try raising chickens, quails, or even mushrooms—and gradually earn enough to afford a gallery, provided, of course, that you still feel like pursuing that by the time you’ve saved up! :)

I have never stopped painting in the most difficult circumstances. I have been painting for more than 30 years in a row.
I really wanted to see your work because the ad below has all your posts, but when I clicked on it, it wouldn't open.
Remind me... for how many years did Sisyphus push that boulder up the hill? :)

He believed his motivation and his goals were the right ones... presumably...
Or perhaps not every piece of prey is meant for a predator—sometimes you need to look for different prey instead :)
In my opinion (personal opinion) this is the best artwork I've seen from you in the last few days. A perfect artwork.
Funny enough, an artist friend of mine from Israel—I know him as Rane—criticized this particular piece, along with the drawing of the sleeping fisherman and the pike, precisely because they were done using a stippling (dot-work) technique. He told me back then: "No dots!"
I did go back and rework the drawing of the pike, but I left this one as it is—for the sake of constructive criticism, lol.
Does this mean I’m not growing as an artist, but actually regressing? :)
This is Rane’s website—his gallery. He’s an incredible hyperrealist artist: https://ran-art.com
I don’t remember the exact details—it was a long time ago—but I believe I made these images interactive so they could be opened; perhaps something has broken :)

For instance, the sequoia—that was the first pencil drawing I’d done after not picking up a pencil to draw for about 35–40 years. :)

You’ve already seen the drawing with the rooster; as for the rest, they are my own drawings created over photographs—done manually, without the use of AI—along with photo collages that I also put together myself. :)
Thank you for submitting, your works are completely personal and you have your own unique style and it is very valuable.
Is it a digital signature?
This is my pencil drawing... no digital work involved :)
I know you did the drawing with a pencil... I mean the signature at the bottom right of the work
Well, yes—but for the buyer of the original painting, I’ll add a handwritten autograph :)
This painting of yours turned out really great too
