A strange bird.

A strange bird.

A strange bird, in my understanding, forgive me for being so blunt, is a bird whose nature of keeping is unclear to me, and it's not at all a bird I simply couldn't see in the sky.

Yes, with chickens and ducks, everything is clear: they are short-term relationships between a person and a bird, during which the bird's hunger fades, and the person's hunger gradually reaches its peak, and the person satisfies it by eating the bird.

But domestic pigeons and the attachment to them are completely incomprehensible to me, but that's purely my personal opinion; I'm just saying what I think.

When it comes to wild pigeons, I know what to do. My child, father, and I used to hunt pigeons during the season, but we don't hunt chickens, lol, unless we're talking about pigeons.

These thoughts arose after visiting the Chisinau bird market, where a large number of pigeons of various breeds are sold. Yes, the birds are beautiful, but I don't know what to call their care other than collecting.

The bird isn't particularly sociable, not like a parrot, and doesn't sing like a kenor. As for their habits, I don't like them at all. They're cruel, especially to the young of their fellows.

I don't know, maybe one day I'll have an epiphany about keeping pigeons, but for now, it's something I'm completely indifferent to.

Zoom in on a photo for a closer view.

Material thoughts about beekeeping №1

When I visited dense forests, I did not see ideal conditions for bees there, but many beekeepers harvest beekeeping products in such places.

I think birds are amazing creatures and each species has its own personality and beauty. As a painter, I am interested in their shapes, colors and movements. I understand that keeping some birds may not be attractive to everyone, but since I had many pigeons in our yard as a child and of course my parents still have many pigeons in their yard, these can be the reasons for keeping them: decorativeness, a sense of joy, in some cultures they are a source of sustenance and blessing of life, they can be bought and sold like other birds, etc. But for me the feeling of joy and happiness is more tangible because I remember when I was a child we would make noises with our mouths with great joy and 100 pigeons would come out of their nests and gather around us to eat. These moments were truly full of excitement and joy for me and my family.

I don’t know how artists view the world—perhaps one day, when I become an artist myself, I’ll understand—but for now, I try to look at the world with a sense of wonder, much like a child does :)

Children have an abstract perspective, which is why they go beyond drawing what they see, and only a few lines are enough for them to draw a house.

The main thing is for parents to appreciate such speed and simplicity in how their children complete assigned tasks—though sometimes they might tell them: "Don't rush, focus, and make sure you do a high-quality job!" :)
For children, however, this is often boring—especially when it comes to doing homework for any school subject with high quality, all while they’d rather be out playing soccer :)

Since I went back to my childhood, I forgot to tell you that your photos are amazing in terms of framing and visualization. Each one is a work of art...think about them.

What’s the point of dwelling on this, when you could just enjoy life and do whatever you feel like—like drawing, for instance, or something else? :)
If you think about it too much—lol—you might end up developing a negative outlook toward a world that doesn’t share your views or recognize your true talent—lol.

Not everyone is going to accept our views, just as we are not going to accept theirs.

So, I see no reason to dwell on what I’m good at—or what I might do better than someone else; one should be a bit more modest :)

No matter what level of skill we are at, we should not abandon education. We always need to learn. We should add to our knowledge every day.

Knowledge is especially important when gathering mushrooms :)

Your thoughts on beekeeping are really interesting. It's fascinating how nature works sometimes the "ideal" conditions we imagine in our heads are different from where bees actually thrive. Thanks for sharing this!
