Greetings and blessings, friends of the needles. I hope you are doing well with health and wellness and that it is a week of much hope and projects realized.

On this new Needle Monday, I am excited to tell you about my new knitted tendrils. This time I decided to create a different design: long, light and very cheerful tendrils that end with a multicolored butterfly that seems to have flown out of a garden full of magic.

Since I started knitting them, I felt a special connection. Each stitch was like a spark of joy, because I used a nuanced yarn of mixed colors, vibrant, full of life with shades of pink, blue, yellow, mint green and purple, an explosion of color that I loved. I love colors, they give me life and I feel they have the power to transform any gray day into a little party.

En este nuevo lunes de agujas, vengo a contarles con mucha emoción sobre mis nuevos zarcillos tejidos. Esta vez me animé a crear un diseño diferente: unos zarcillos largos, livianos y muy alegres, que terminan con una mariposa multicolor que parece haber salido volando de un jardín lleno de magia.

Desde que comencé a tejerlos, sentí una conexión especial. Cada puntada fue como una chispa de alegría, pues usé un hilo matizado de colores mezclados, vibrantes, llenos de vida con tonos rosado, azul, amarillo, verde menta y púrpura, una explosión de color que me encantó. Amo los colores, me dan vida y siento que tienen el poder de transformar cualquier día gris en una pequeña fiesta.

While I was knitting them, a song that I have loved for years came to my mind: Mariposa Tecknicolor by Fito Paez. That song always reminds me that you have to live with intensity, with freedom, with desire. And that's exactly what I felt with these tendrils: creative freedom, emotion, the desire to fly a little bit with my imagination.

When I finished them, I stayed a long time admiring them. I thought they were so beautiful that I couldn't help but try them on right away and take a picture. I loved them! They move gracefully, and have that special touch that only something handmade can have.

These tendrils carry a little piece of me, of my love for butterflies, my joy, and that immense desire to continue creating beautiful things with my hands and heart like a butterfly weaving its own flight 🦋.

Mientras los tejía, vino a mi mente una canción que me encanta desde hace años: Mariposa Tecknicolor de Fito Páez. Esa canción siempre me recuerda que hay que vivir con intensidad, con libertad, con ganas. Y justo eso sentí con estos zarcillos: libertad creativa, emoción, ganas de volar un poquito con la imaginación.

Cuando los terminé, me quedé un buen rato admirándolos. Me parecieron tan bonitos que no pude evitar probarlos de inmediato y tomarme una fotito. ¡Me encantaron! Se mueven con gracia, y tienen ese toque especial que solo algo hecho a mano puede tener.

Estos zarcillos llevan un pedacito de mí, de mi amor por las mariposas, mi alegría, y esas ganas inmensas de seguir creando cosas bonitas con las manos y el corazón como una mariposa que va tejiendo su propio vuelo.🦋
