Women who inspire and support
Greetings, my dear Ladies of Hive. I hope you are all doing very well and enjoying good health and well-being.
I’m back in the community to participate in the 299th edition of the contest that our beloved Ladies of Hive invite us to join every week. This time, I’ll be answering one of the questions posed by our friend @yechee:
1️⃣ There’s a long-standing belief that genuine female friendships are rare to find or difficult to maintain. Has this influenced the way you approach or interact with other women in your circle? Are there aspects of female friendships that you’ve come to appreciate more? And how have you overcome the challenges involved in building meaningful connections with women?

Estoy de vuelta por la comunidad para participar en la edición #299 del concurso al que nos invitan, semanalmente, las estimadas Damas de Hive. En esta ocasión, daré respuesta a una de las preguntas que nos ha propuesto la amiga @yechee:
1️⃣ Existe una antigua creencia de que las amistades femeninas genuinas son raras de encontrar o difíciles de mantener. ¿Ha influido esto en la forma en que te acercas o interactúas con otras mujeres en tu espacio? ¿Hay aspectos de las amistades femeninas que has llegado a apreciar más? ¿Y cómo has superado también los desafíos que conlleva construir algo intencional con mujeres?
Today, I deeply value the friendships I’ve built with other women. I love surrounding myself with people who are genuinely happy for each other’s achievements, who generously share their knowledge, and who know that one woman’s brilliance never dims another’s. Life has taught me that the most beautiful connections are born from small moments: a leisurely conversation, a shared interest, a joint project, or a few laughs. It’s those simple encounters that, often without us even realizing it, end up becoming deep friendships, full of support, trust, and affection.
Today I believe that a good friendship between women doesn’t happen by chance; it’s built on respect, trust, generosity, and a genuine desire to walk together, supporting and growing with one another.
Hoy valoro muchísimo las amistades que he construido con otras mujeres. Me encanta rodearme de personas que se alegran de corazón por los logros de las demás, que comparten sus conocimientos con generosidad y que saben que el brillo de una nunca apaga el de otra. La vida me ha enseñado que las conexiones más bonitas nacen de los pequeños momentos: una conversación sin prisa, un interés en común, un proyecto compartido o unas cuantas risas. Son esos sencillos encuentros los que, muchas veces sin darnos cuenta, terminan convirtiéndose en amistades profundas, llenas de apoyo, confianza y cariño.
Hoy creo que una buena amistad entre mujeres no nace por casualidad, se construye con respeto, confianza, generosidad y el deseo genuino de caminar juntas, apoyándonos y creciendo unas con otras.
