Weaving the trend of mesh hats🧶💥

This Monday, I come to you with a confession, dear knitting friends. I know you will understand! I have to admit that I gave in to the temptation to knit the latest trend. Yes, I admit it, I couldn't resist the most viral knitted accessory of the moment: the famous mesh hats.

On Friday, I told myself, “I'm just going to look at a couple of patterns,” but we all know how that story ends, right? As soon as I saw how cute they look and how quickly they knit up, I went straight out to buy some new yarn in colors that had been catching my eye for a while. And so, without realizing it, I spent the weekend crocheting mesh hats.💥

Este lunes de aguja vengo con una confesión, querida amigas tejedoras. ¡Yo sé que me entenderán! Les cuento que caí en la tentación de tejer la tendencia del momento. Sí, lo admito, no me pude resistir al accesorio tejido más viral de estos días: los famosos mesh hat o gorritos de malla.

El viernes me dije a mí misma: “solo voy a mirar un par de patrones”, pero ya sabemos cómo termina esa historia, ¿verdad? Apenas vi lo lindos que quedan y lo rápido que se tejen, me fui directo a comprar unos hilos nuevos, con colores que me tenían haciendo ojitos desde hace rato. Y así, sin darme cuenta, pasé el fin de semana entre vueltas de crochet tejiendo mesh hats.💥

The hats are simple, easy to follow, and can be finished in the blink of an eye. I always enjoy knitting projects that give me quick satisfaction, so I was delighted. There are lots of videos with different patterns and styles: some are tighter, others looser, some are colorful, and others have sequins and beads. Once you start looking, you'll want to knit them all.

I was surprised by how versatile they are. Although they seem like a simple accessory, they really add a distinctive touch to your look. I think they're perfect for elevating a basic outfit, such as a white T-shirt and jeans. And if you combine them with the colors of the season, even better.

Los gorritos son sencillos, fáciles de seguir y, además, se terminan en un abrir y cerrar de ojos. Yo que siempre disfruto de esos tejidos que me dan satisfacción rápida, quedé encantada. Hay muchísimos videos con diferentes patrones y estilos: unos más cerrados, otros más sueltos, algunos coloridos y otros con lentejuelas y perlitas. Uno se mete a mirar y ya quiere tejerlos todos.

Me sorprendió lo versátiles que son. Aunque parecen un accesorio sencillo, realmente le dan un toque distinto al look. Yo los veo perfectos para elevar un outfit básico, como una camiseta blanca y un jean. Y si se combinan con los colores de la temporada, mejor todavía.

So my weekend flew by among balls of yarn and knitted hats, with the excitement I always feel when discovering a new project. I already plan to knit a couple more to try out different finishes and display them in my showcase for sale. I'll send the ones that are already finished to my nieces in Venezuela. I'm excited to imagine how they'll look wearing them. I'm sure they'll love them and look beautiful.

Today I'm happy to bring you this trend on my needlework Monday. This is another fun, relaxing, and creative project.

Así que mi fin de semana se fue volando entre ovillos gorritos de malla, con la emoción que siempre me da descubrir un proyecto nuevo. Ya tengo planeado tejer un par más para probar distintos acabados, y exhibirlos en mi vitrina para la venta. Estos que ya están listos se los enviaré a mis sobrinas en Venezuela, me emociona imaginar cómo se verán con ellos puestos. Seguro que les van a encantar y se verán preciosas.

Hoy me siento feliz de traerles esta tendencia en mi lunes de aguja. Este es otro proyecto divertido, relajante y creativo.

Tejer gorros es algo adictivo, hay tantas posibles combinaciones tanto de color como de diseños y modelos. Estos te han quedado hermosos, te felicito.
