Weaving a new business dream(EN-ES)
Greetings, my dear Hive Ladies. Happy day, I hope you are all doing well and enjoying good health and well-being.
Today I want to share my participation in edition #252 of the contest that the Hive Ladies invite us to participate in every week. On this occasion, I will answer the first question proposed by our friend @jane1289 this week:
1️⃣ If you had the opportunity, what kind of business would you like to start and why?
If I had been asked that question a few years ago, I would probably have answered differently, because I never imagined myself owning a physical business. However, life surprised me with the opportunity to open a small food business in Bogotá with my family, which recently celebrated its third anniversary. It has been an experience full of challenges, lessons learned, and, above all, a lot of gratitude, because we have managed to stay afloat amid difficulties and offer a little bit of Venezuelan flavor to those who visit us.

Hoy quiero compartir mi participación en la edición #252 del concurso al que nos invitan, semanalmente, las Damas de Hive. En esta ocasión, daré respuesta a la primera pregunta que nos ha propuesto la amiga @jane1289 esta semana:
1️⃣ Si tuvieras la oportunidad, ¿qué tipo de negocio te gustaría montar y por qué?
Si me hubieran hecho esa pregunta hace algunos años, seguramente habría respondido algo distinto, porque nunca me imaginé teniendo un negocio físico. Sin embargo, la vida me sorprendió con la oportunidad de abrir, junto a mi familia, un pequeño negocio de comida en Bogotá que recientemente cumplió tres años. Ha sido una experiencia llena de retos, aprendizajes y, sobre todo, de mucha gratitud, porque hemos logrado mantenernos de pie en medio de las dificultades y brindar un pedacito de sabor venezolano a quienes nos visitan.

If you ask me now what business I would like to start, my answer is clear: an embroidery and knitting shop-café. It is a dream that excites and inspires me. I imagine a warm, welcoming space, full of colors, threads, yarns, and fabrics, where everyone who enters can feel the calm that I myself experience every time I knit or embroider. And although that dream is still in the works, I have already taken a small first step: in our food business, I have a display case where I exhibit my knitting and embroidery. To my surprise, people admire them, ask me about them, and I have even managed to make sales, which motivates me even more.
I don't want my shop to be just a place to buy materials, but also a meeting place, an open workshop where I can teach and share this art.
Si me preguntan ahora qué negocio me gustaría montar, mi respuesta es clara: una tienda-café de bordados y tejidos. Es un sueño que me emociona y me inspira. Me imagino un espacio cálido, acogedor, lleno de colores, hilos, lanas y telas, donde cada persona que entre pueda sentir la calma que yo misma experimento cada vez que tejo o bordo. Y aunque ese sueño todavía está en proceso, ya he dado un pequeño primer paso: en nuestro negocio de comida tengo una vitrina donde exhibo mis tejidos y bordados. Para mi sorpresa, la gente los admira, me pregunta por ellos y hasta he logrado hacer ventas y eso me motiva aún más.
No quiero que mi tienda sea solo un lugar para comprar materiales, sino también un espacio de encuentro, un taller abierto donde enseñar y compartir este arte.
