Visit to the National University of Colombia(EN-ES)
Greetings, my dear walking friends of this community. I hope you are doing well, in good health and well-being and that this week will be of benefit to all of you.
Today, for the Wednesday walk, I want to share with you the visit I made to the National University of Colombia and that I walked with a group of friends who were the guides of this wonderful tour.
This nucleus is based in Bogota and is known as the University City or the White City. It has 17 buildings that have been declared national monuments. The campus I visited is located at Carrera 45 N° 26-85, and is one of the nine campuses that are distributed throughout the Colombian territory.
Saludos, mis queridos amigos caminantes de esta comunidad. Espero que se encuentren muy bien, con salud y bienestar y que esta semana sea de provecho para todos.
Hoy, para el miércoles de caminata, quiero compartir con ustedes la visita que hice a la Universidad Nacional de Colombia y que caminé junto a un grupo de amigos que fueron los guías de este maravilloso recorrido.
Este núcleo, tiene sede en Bogotá y es conocido como la Ciudad Universitaria o la Ciudad Blanca. Cuenta con 17 construcciones que han sido declaradas monumento nacional. El campus que visité está ubicado en la Carrera 45 N° 26-85, y es una de las nueve sedes que están distribuidas en el territorio colombiano.

From the moment I crossed the entrance to the campus, I felt a special connection to the surroundings. The lush trees lining the walkways, the manicured gardens, and the open spaces reminded me of the university where I worked and which is still vivid in my memory.
Desde el momento en que crucé la entrada del campus, sentí una conexión especial con el entorno. Los árboles frondosos que bordean los caminos, los jardines bien cuidados, y los espacios abiertos me recordaron la universidad donde trabajé y que sigue viva en mi memoria.
Walking through this campus was like a very special trip back in time. The modern and functional buildings are surrounded by a lot of vegetation, which creates a serene and welcoming environment, conducive to student life and learning. I was able to observe how the students moved from one side to the other, some concentrating on their studies under the shade of a tree, and others chatting animatedly in small groups. I was delighted to relive all this university dynamic.
Caminar por este campus fue como un viaje muy especial en el tiempo. Las edificaciones modernas y funcionales están rodeadas de mucha vegetación, lo que crea un ambiente sereno y acogedor, propicio para la vida estudiantil y el aprendizaje. Pude observar como los estudiantes se movían de un lado a otro, algunos concentrados en sus estudios bajo la sombra de un árbol, y otros conversaban animadamente en pequeños grupos. Me encantó revivir toda esta dinámica universitaria.

The National University of Colombia is a natural refuge in the middle of the bustle of the city, where you can hear the birds singing and the soft murmur of the wind among the leaves. It is a beautiful place where nature and academia coexist in perfect harmony.
The visit to this campus awakened in me a deep sense of familiarity and made me relive an endearing chapter of my life. I leave you with the pictures so you can appreciate how beautiful this university is.
La Universidad Nacional de Colombia es un refugio natural en medio del bullicio citadino, donde se puede escuchar el canto de los pájaros y el suave murmullo del viento entre las hojas. Es un hermoso lugar donde la naturaleza y la academia coexisten en perfecta armonía.
La visita a este campus despertó en mí una profunda sensación de familiaridad y me hizo revivir un capítulo entrañable de mi vida. Les dejo las fotos para que puedan apreciar lo hermosa que es esta universidad.
