Triangular shaped collar with granny pattern
Greetings and blessings, needle friends. I hope you are in good health and wellness and that it will be a week of many projects.
I'm here again to share with my dear friends of the community, in our beloved “Needlepoint Monday”, a new knitting project that I loved. This time I decided to knit another accessory that I like so much to keep me warm in this Bogota weather: a triangular collar with a vibrant yellow color that cheers the eye and lifts my spirits.
I chose a soft yarn that has a lovely drape and allows the collar to keep its shape without losing comfort. I'm using a 4mm hook, ideal for the thickness of the yarn. I love knitting with granny stitch, letting myself be carried away by its rhythm, and seeing how the design gradually forms with each group of three rods, and also seeing how it grows symmetrically from the center. To close this beautiful collar I put a yellow button that was perfect.

Estoy de nuevo por acá para compartir con mis queridas amigas de la comunidad, en nuestro querido “lunes de agujas”, un nuevo proyecto de tejido que me encantó. Esta vez decidí tejer otro accesorio de los que tanto me gustan para abrigarme en este clima bogotano: un cuello triangular con un amarillo vibrante que alegra la vista y levanta el ánimo.
Escogí un hilo suave que tiene una caída preciosa y que permite que el cuello conserve su forma sin perder la comodidad. Estoy utilizando un gancho de 4 mm, ideal para el grosor del hilo. Me encanta tejer con punto granny, dejarme llevar por su ritmo, y ver cómo se va formando poco a poco el diseño con cada grupo de tres varetas, y ver, también, cómo crece simétricamente a partir del centro. Para cerrar este hermoso cuello le puse un botón amarillo que le quedó perfecto.
This type of project is perfect for those who are looking to knit something quick, useful and beautiful, because it can be knitted in a few hours, and at the same time it is a piece that looks very detailed. I am very happy with how it looks and I am already thinking about making others in different colors.
I hope you like this project as much as I do, and I can tell you that I already wore it to the movies. Also, I hope that some of you dare to knit it, I would love to see your versions, each one with that unique touch that we all know how to give with our hands.
Este tipo de proyecto es perfecto para quienes buscan tejer algo rápido, útil y bonito, pues se puede tejer en pocas horas, y al mismo tiempo es una pieza que luce hecha con mucho detalle. Estoy muy contenta con cómo se ve y ya estoy pensando en hacer otros en distintos colores.
Espero que les guste este proyecto tanto como a mí, y les cuento que ya lo usé para ir al cine. También, espero que alguna de ustedes se anime a tejerlo, me encantaría ver sus versiones, cada una con ese toque único que todas sabemos dar con nuestras manos.
