I am finishing my burlap project for the library's anniversary celebration, and I wanted to give it a special touch by cross-stitching three words that, for me, sum up what I have found in this space: Knowledge, Creativity, and Friendship.💗🌈

It had been a while since I had done any cross-stitching, and although I always say that I'm not very skilled at this technique, I really enjoy trying. Each stitch connects me with patience and the value of doing things with my own hands. Here is the embroidered message that I will add to my work.✅

The first word I embroidered was Knowledge. I initially chose the color yellow because I associate it with light, with the clarity that knowledge gives us. But it didn't look good on the fabric, so I put orange over the yellow. I liked that change even more, because orange not only illuminates, but also conveys energy, vitality, and enthusiasm, which is exactly how I feel every time I learn something new at the library.💛

Then I turned my attention to the word Creativity. I used several colors, like a small rainbow, because that's what creativity is like: playfulness, joy, diversity, and movement. In the library, I have found a place where I can express myself and combine ideas, where imagination and the possibility of creating are valued.🌈

Finally, I embroidered the word Friendship in purple. This color has a deep symbolism: it is linked to spirituality, empathy, and nobility. For me, it reflects the way sincere bonds have been woven in the library. Friendship, like purple, has a special nuance that envelops with warmth and respect. I have discovered that sharing time, words, and affection is as valuable as any knowledge acquired.💫
