The good news my heart needed❤️🌷
Greetings, my dear Ladies of Hive. I hope you are all doing very well and enjoying good health and well-being.
I’m back in the community to participate in the 296th edition of the contest that our beloved Ladies of Hive invite us to join every week. This time, I’ll be answering one of the questions posed by our friend @merit.ahama:
2️⃣ Despite our worries and expectations, we still receive good news. What’s some good news you’ve received recently? If it’s been a while, what kind of good news would truly make you happy right now?
One of the best pieces of news I’ve received recently is that I’ll be reunited with part of my family very soon. We haven’t seen each other in four years—since I emigrated—and although distance has kept us united in our hearts, nothing compares to the chance to hug each other again.
When I received that news, I felt immense happiness; it brightened my day and made me realize that, even in the midst of difficulties, life also gives us reasons to smile. Now, with everything my country has been through and continues to go through, this reunion has a much deeper meaning. It’s an opportunity to look each other in the eyes, hug each other tightly, tell each other how much we love one another, and be grateful that, despite everything, we continue to find a way to come together.

Estoy de vuelta por la comunidad para participar en la edición #296 del concurso al que nos invitan, semanalmente, las estimadas Damas de Hive. En esta ocasión, daré respuesta a una de las preguntas que nos ha propuesto la amiga @merit.ahama:
2️⃣ A pesar de las preocupaciones y expectativas, todavía nos llegan buenas noticias. ¿Cuál es una buena noticia reciente que haya recibido? Si ha pasado un tiempo, ¿qué tipo de buenas noticias te harían realmente feliz en este momento?
Una de las mejores noticias que he recibido recientemente es que muy pronto voy a reencontrarme con una parte de mi familia. Hace cuatro años que no nos vemos, desde que emigré, y aunque la distancia nos ha mantenido unidos de corazón, nada se compara con la posibilidad de volver a abrazarnos.
Cuando recibí esa noticia sentí una felicidad inmensa, se me iluminó el día y me hizo pensar en que, incluso, en medio de las dificultades, la vida también nos regala motivos para sonreír. Ahora, con todo lo que ha vivido y sigue viviendo mi país, este encuentro tiene un significado mucho más profundo. Es la oportunidad de mirarnos a los ojos, abrazarnos fuerte, decirnos cuánto nos queremos y agradecer que, a pesar de todo, seguimos encontrando el camino para reunirnos.
I’m really looking forward to spending a few days with them in the country I now call home. I want to show them the places that are part of my new life, talk without worrying about the time, laugh at our stories, and create new memories together. I know those moments will be a treasure I’ll carry with me for a long time.
I learned a long time ago that happy memories sustain us. On difficult days, when nostalgia sets in or the news fills us with worry, remembering a hug, a conversation, or a family meal can restore our hope. And if someone asked me today what kind of good news would truly make me happy, I’d answer without hesitation that it’s the kind that allows me to spend more time with the people I love—because, without a doubt, moments spent with family are the most precious refuge we can hold in our hearts.
Tengo mucha ilusión por compartir con ellos unos días en el país que hoy llamo hogar. Quiero mostrarles los lugares que forman parte de mi nueva vida, conversar sin pensar en el tiempo, reírnos de nuestras anécdotas y crear nuevos recuerdos juntos. Sé que esos momentos serán un tesoro que llevaré conmigo durante mucho tiempo.
Desde hace mucho tiempo aprendí que los recuerdos felices nos sostienen. En los días difíciles, cuando la nostalgia aparece o las noticias nos llenan de preocupación, recordar un abrazo, una conversación o una comida en familia puede devolvernos la esperanza. Y si hoy me preguntaran qué tipo de buenas noticias me harían realmente feliz, respondería sin pensarlo mucho que aquellas que me permitan compartir más tiempo con las personas que amo porque, sin duda, los momentos vividos en familia son el refugio más valioso que podemos guardar en el corazón.
