Shelves, color, and Christmas: my dream corner🏠
Greetings, my dear friends at @home.solutions. I sincerely hope that you are all well, healthy, and happy, and that these are days filled with joy and family togetherness.
I'm here to share with you that, after thinking about it for a long time, I finally managed to decorate the wall space behind the front door. That little corner had always been a pending task for me.
The change began with repainting the wall. I decided to paint it the same accent color I had used on one of the walls last year. As soon as I finished, the room felt different, much warmer and more welcoming. Then came the part of measuring, moving things around, measuring again, and deciding exactly where to place the shelves. I wanted them to be balanced, not too high or too low, and to harmonize with the door when it was open.

Estoy por acá para compartirles que, después de mucho tiempo dándole vueltas, por fin logré decorar el espacio de la pared que queda detrás de la puerta de entrada. Ese rinconcito siempre había sido un pendiente para mí.
El cambio empezó cambiando el color de la pared. Me animé a pintarla con el mismo tono de acento que había usado en una de las paredes el año pasado. Apenas terminé, ya se sentía un ambiente distinto, mucho más cálido y acogedor. Después vino la parte de medir, mover cosas, volver a medir y decidir exactamente dónde colocar las repisas. Quería que quedaran equilibradas, que no se vieran ni muy altas ni muy bajas, y que además armonizaran con la puerta cuando estuviera abierta.

To inaugurate the shelves, I put up Christmas decorations. On the top shelf, I placed the MDF tree that I painted, along with some small trees and decorative gifts that added a charming touch. On the bottom shelf, I arranged some nutcrackers, a golden tree, and a lamp that illuminates the entire space with a soft, magical light.
Honestly, I fell in love with the result. I love this change, and every detail makes me happy. I love seeing the result when I walk into the house, which is why I wanted to share with you how my dream corner turned out.
Para estrenar las repisas le puse decoración navideña. En la repisa de arriba puse el arbolito de MDF que pinté, junto con unos arbolitos pequeños y unos regalitos decorativos que le dieron un toque encantador. En la repisa de abajo dispuse unos cascanueces, un arbolito dorado y una lamparita que ilumina todo el espacio con una luz suave y mágica.
La verdad, me enamoré del resultado. Este cambio me encanta y cada detalle me hace feliz. Ver el resultado cuando entro a la casa me gusta y por eso quería compartirles como quedó mi rinconcito soñado.
