New materials that inspire new creations💎📿
Today I want to tell you something that makes me very happy. I already have new materials to continue advancing in my jewelry-making course, and you can't imagine how excited I was to have them in my hands. A few days ago, I took the time to go to one of those jewelry-making supply stores that I love so much here in Bogotá, where time flies by among colors, textures, and sparkles. I love this store's slogan, which says, “Here you'll find a little happiness,” because that's really how it is.
I went with a general idea in mind, but as always happens to me, I ended up falling in love with many other things. I bought Murano glass beads in different colors and sizes, each with its own special charm. There are bright shades, softer ones, some small and delicate, and others a little more striking, perfect for pieces that want to steal the show. As I was choosing them, I was already imagining everything I could create with them.
Hoy quiero contarles algo que me tiene muy contenta. Ya tengo nuevos materiales para seguir avanzando en mi curso de bisutería, y no saben la emoción que sentí al tenerlos en mis manos. Hace unos días me di el tiempo de ir a una de esas tiendas de insumos para bisutería que tanto me gustan aquí en Bogotá, donde el tiempo se pasa volando entre colores, texturas y brillos. Me encanta el eslogan de esta tienda que dice: "Aquí encontrarás un poco de felicidad", porque realmente es así.
Fui con una idea general, pero como siempre me pasa, terminé enamorándome de muchas cosas más. Compré cristales de muranos de diferentes colores y tamaños, cada uno con su encanto especial. Hay tonos vivos, otros más suaves, algunos pequeños y delicados, y otros un poco más protagonistas, perfectos para piezas que quieran robarse todas las miradas. Mientras los escogía, ya iba imaginando todo lo que puedo crear con ellos.

I got home, opened the bags, and seeing them on the table filled me with the desire to get to work, to continue learning, and to let creativity and inspiration flow. I feel like these new materials have arrived just when I am most motivated, with lots of ideas floating around and a desire to keep creating beautiful details. I am excited about the accessories to come, the combinations I am going to try, and everything I still have to discover in this course. Without a doubt, there are some very beautiful things ahead. ✨
Llegué a casa, abrí las bolsas y verlos sobre la mesa me llenó de ganas de poner manos a la obra, de seguir aprendiendo y de dejar que la creatividad y la inspiración fluyan. Siento que estos nuevos materiales llegan justo cuando más motivada estoy, con muchas ideas rondando y con el deseo de seguir creando detalles bonitos. Estoy emocionada por los accesorios que vienen, por las combinaciones que voy a probar y por todo lo que aún me falta por descubrir en este curso. Sin duda, se vienen cosas muy bonitas. ✨
