My new decoration for the kitchen window🏡⭐

Today I want to share with you a decorative item I made with the stars I crocheted a few days ago, which you can see in this post. Ever since I finished those four little white crocheted stars, I wanted them to become something special, something I could see every day and that would fill a little corner of my home with Christmas spirit. So I thought they would look beautiful in the kitchen window.

Hoy quiero compartirles un elemento decorativo que hice con las estrellas que tejí hace unos días y que pueden ver en esta publicación. Desde que terminé esas cuatro estrellitas blancas tejidas a crochet quise que se convirtieran en un detalle especial, en algo que pudiera ver todos los días y que llenara de espíritu navideño un rinconcito de mi hogar. Así pensé que lucirían hermosas en la ventana de la cocina.
For this project, I used a small piece of wood from a plant that I had saved, thinking I would make something pretty with it. That piece of wood became the base of the ornament. I cleaned it and left it as it was, rustic, because I love how it looks that way. Then I looked for a piece of jute I had left over from another project, a few wooden beads, and with all that I began to imagine the composition.
Para este proyecto usé un pedacito de tronco de una plantita que tenía guardado, pensando en hacer algo bonito con él. Ese trocito de madera se convirtió en la base del adorno. Lo limpié y lo dejé tal cual, rústico, porque me encanta cómo se ve así. Luego busqué un pedazo de yute que me había quedado de otro proyecto, unas cuantas cuentitas de madera, y con todo eso empecé a imaginar la composición.

I had woven four stars and began playing with the heights between them. So I placed two in the center, letting them take center stage, and then placed one on each side, a little higher and lower, so that everything felt balanced and full of life. I tied each star with jute strips, threaded some beads onto the strands to give it a warmer touch, and when I lifted the trunk and placed it in front of me, I loved it.
When I hung it in the window and turned on the lights, I stood there for a long time, enjoying and capturing the scene with my cell phone, although, since I took the photos in the morning, they don't show what it actually looks like. The decoration turned out beautiful, with that mix that I like so much: somewhat rustic, but at the same time delicate and soft.
So today I'm showing you my Christmas decoration for the kitchen window, made with woven stars, wood, jute, and lots of love.
Había tejido cuatro estrellas y me puse a jugar con las alturas entre ellas. Así que puse dos en el centro, dejando que se vieran protagonistas, y luego coloqué una a cada lado, un poquito más arriba y más abajo, para que todo se sintiera equilibrado y lleno de vida. Amarré cada estrella con tiras de yute, pasé algunas cuentas en las hebras para darle un toque más cálido, y cuando levanté el tronco y lo puse frente a mí, me encantó.
Al colgarlo en la ventana y encender las luces, me quedé un buen rato allí parada, disfrutando y capturando la escena con mi celular, aunque, como tomé las fotos en la mañana, no muestran lo que se ve en realidad. El adorno me quedó bello, tiene esa mezcla que tanto me gusta: algo rústico, pero al mismo tiempo delicado y suave.
Así pues, hoy les muestro mi adorno navideño para la ventana de la cocina, hecho con estrellas tejidas, madera, yute y mucho cariño.

Amiga se ve realmente bonita esa decoración. A mi también me encanta la madera rústica, es mucho más cálida. Sin dudas esta decoración va súper acorde con todo el ambiente de tu casa.
