My experience working from home💻🏡
Greetings, my dear Ladies of Hive. Happy day to all of you; I hope you are doing very well and enjoying good health and well-being.
I’m back in the community to participate in the 281st edition of the contest that the esteemed Ladies of Hive invite us to join every week. On this occasion, I’ll answer one of the questions posed by our friend @jane1289:
1️⃣ Do you prefer working from home or going to the office? Why?
I admit that going to work and having a workplace with a pleasant and productive atmosphere has its nice and very positive side, especially because of the interaction with other people, the conversations among colleagues and friends, and that change of scenery that is sometimes needed. But if I have to choose, especially after having worked from home for so long—particularly during the pandemic—I definitely prefer the peace and quiet of my home.

Estoy de vuelta por la comunidad para participar en la edición #281 del concurso al que nos invitan, semanalmente, las estimadas Damas de Hive. En esta ocasión, daré respuesta a una de las preguntas que nos ha propuesto la amiga @jane1289:
1️⃣ ¿Prefieres trabajar desde casa o ir a la oficina? ¿Por qué?
Reconozco que salir a trabajar y tener un lugar de trabajo con un ambiente ameno y productivo tiene su lado bonito y muy positivo, sobre todo por el contacto con otras personas, las conversaciones entre colegas y amigos, y ese cambio de ambiente que a veces hace falta. Pero si tengo que elegir, especialmente después de haber trabajado desde casa durante tanto tiempo, sobre todo en la pandemia, sin duda me quedo con la tranquilidad de mi hogar.

For me, it’s not just a matter of comfort, but of how I feel day to day. Being at home allows me to create a peaceful environment, at my own pace, surrounded by my things, my music, and even my favorite cup of coffee—all without any rush. I feel like I’m more productive when I’m in a space that inspires me and where I don’t have to deal with the daily hassles of the street, like traffic or the morning rush.
Plus, working from home gives me a flexibility that I value immensely. I can better manage my time, take intentional breaks, and even make progress on personal projects without feeling like everything revolves solely around work. It doesn’t mean I work less; on the contrary, I’m often more productive because I’m more focused and comfortable.
In the end, I’ve found that my home is the best place to work and live my best life every day.
Para mí, no es solo una cuestión de comodidad, sino de cómo se siente mi día a día. Estar en casa me permite crear un ambiente tranquilo, a mi ritmo, con mis cosas, mi música y hasta mi cafecito favorito sin afanes. Siento que rindo más cuando estoy en un espacio que me inspira y donde no tengo que lidiar con las cotidianidades de la calle como el tráfico o las carreras de la mañana.
Además, trabajar desde casa me da una flexibilidad que valoro muchísimo. Puedo organizar mejor mis tiempos, hacer pausas conscientes y hasta avanzar en cosas personales sin sentir que todo gira únicamente alrededor del trabajo. No significa que trabaje menos, al contrario, muchas veces soy más productiva porque estoy más concentrada y cómoda.
Al final, encontré en mi casa el mejor lugar para trabajar y vivir mejor cada día.

This post might have been too forward but it's one of the best I've read this week! You highlighted your reason for choosing remote work and corrected some misconceptions with the simplest yet engaging sentences. That is something I truly enjoyed reading.
I totally agree that remote work requires as much effort as opposed to what the public thinks but I do believe that when you find what works for you, it becomes easier to manage your schedule, which in turn gives you a better work-life balance. Thank you for writing with us this week.🥰
Concuerdo contigo mi bella @aurodivys, desde casa podemos propiciar el ambiente que va a nuestro ritmo y así nos sentimos mejor. Claro está, esto requiere mucha organización y disciplina tal como lo mencionas para no mezclar el trabajo seglar con los quehaceres del hogar y terminar exhaustas.

Que inspirador fue leerte, he tenido muchas dudas sobre trabajar desde casa o desde la oficina y después de mirar a través de tus ojos, pareciera que estoy desperdiciando una oportunidad hermosa al permanecer en la oficina. Sentí que esa sensación de paz y de armonía, es justo lo que necesito y estoy segura, de que, si me lo propongo podría tener también una experiencia muy gratificante trabajando desde casa.
