Multigrain Honey: my new snack option
Greetings, my dear foodie friends, lovers of good food. I hope you are all well, healthy, and happy, and that you are enjoying a Sunday full of blessings and success.
I'm back to share another cookie I found at the market to try with my afternoon snack. I've already told you that I've been checking the shelves for a while now, looking for new options to accompany my afternoon coffee. I think it's always good to change things up and give your palate something different that adds that special, sweet touch to your coffee break.
In the midst of that search, I found some cookies that caught my attention: Multicereal Honey with Wheat Bran from Colombina. The first thing that surprised me was reading that they are a source of fiber and protein and that they also have no preservatives, artificial colors, or flavors. That already gave me confidence, because I like to feel that what I consume is as natural as possible. And the price of 5,000 pesos, which is a little over $1, is unbeatable.

Estoy de vuelta para compartir otra de las galletas que he encontrado en el mercado para probar en mis meriendas. Ya les he contado que desde hace tiempo he estado revisando los estantes en la búsqueda de nuevas opciones para acompañar mi café de la tarde. Pienso que siempre es bueno cambiar y darle al paladar algo distinto que dé ese toque especial y dulce al momento del café.
En medio de esa búsqueda encontré unas galletas que me llamaron la atención: Multicereal Miel con salvado de trigo de Colombina. Lo primero que me sorprendió fue leer que son fuente de fibra y proteína y que, además, no tienen conservantes, colorantes ni sabores artificiales. Eso ya me dio confianza, porque me gusta sentir que lo que consumo es lo más natural posible. Y el precio de 5.000 pesos que equivale a un poco más de $1 es insuperable.

The first bite was a true reunion with my memory. It immediately transported me back to the days when I enjoyed Honey Bran in my country, those cookies that I loved so much and that always had a special place in my pantry. It's amazing how a flavor can awaken so many emotions and memories, as if you were transported back to the kitchen of yesteryear, to coffee shared with the family, or to a leisurely afternoon snack.
These cookies have the perfect balance: just the right sweetness from the honey, the texture of wheat bran, and the added goodness of cereals that make them feel complete. The best thing is that they are delicious and don't have the artificial flavor that packaged products often have.
Now, this is an excellent option to vary my snacks. They are practical, tasty, and even make me feel like I'm taking a little more care with what I eat. And although they are not exactly the Honey Bran cookies that I miss so much, they have become a delicious memory and a new favorite for my afternoon coffee breaks.
La primera mordida fue un verdadero reencuentro con mi memoria. De inmediato me trasladaron a los días en que disfrutaba las Honey Bran en mi país, esas galletas que tanto me encantaban y que siempre tenían un lugar especial en mi despensa. Es increíble cómo un sabor puede despertar tantas emociones y recuerdos, como si uno volviera por un instante a la cocina de antes, al cafecito compartido con la familia o a la merienda que se disfrutaba sin apuro.
Estas galletas tienen el equilibrio perfecto: el dulzor justo de la miel, la textura del salvado de trigo y el aporte de los cereales que las hacen sentir completas. Lo mejor es que son deliciosas y sin el sabor artificial que muchas veces tienen los productos empacados.
Ahora, esta es una excelente opción para variar mis meriendas. Son prácticas, ricas y hasta me hacen sentir que estoy cuidando un poquito más lo que consumo. Y aunque no sean exactamente las Honey Bran que tanto extraño, se han convertido en un delicioso recuerdo y en un nuevo favorito en mis tardes de café.
