For this Monday of knitting, I'm sharing a simple project that knits up quickly and looks very pretty. Today is a holiday Monday in Colombia, and a friend invited us to lunch. We gladly accepted because she is one of the Venezuelan friends I've met here, so it will be a nice opportunity to spend time with people from our country, laugh a little, and feel at home.✨
Thinking about the gathering, I didn't want to arrive empty-handed, especially since she just moved into a new apartment. I thought it would be a nice gesture to bring her a little something I made for her new home. So I got to work and knitted some lace edging for a small cloth I had at home.🧶💚

Para este lunes de agujas les comparto un proyecto sencillito que se teje rápido y queda muy bonito. Hoy es lunes festivo en Colombia y una amiga nos invitó a almorzar. Aceptamos con mucho cariño porque es una de las amigas venezolanas que he conocido aquí, así que será una linda oportunidad para compartir con gente nuestra, reírnos un rato y sentirnos como en casa.✨
Pensando en el encuentro, no quería llegar con las manos vacías, sobre todo porque ella se acaba de mudar a un nuevo apartamento. Me pareció un bonito gesto llevarle un detallito hecho por mí, para su nuevo hogar. Así que me puse manos a la obra y tejí unas puntillas o bordes para un pañito que tenía disponible en casa.🧶💚

I always like to have a few extra things on hand, because you never know when moments like this will arise. It's a practical way to make use of what I have knitted or the materials I have left over from other projects, and at the same time, give a gift made with love.💚
The lace I chose is a single row, but it has a design that gives the impression that two rows are knitted, which I love. It's a simple lace, but with a delicate and eye-catching finish. I like projects that can be knitted in a short time, without complications, and still look so good.✨
So, between needles, yarn, and love, this holiday Monday began with a small project that brightened my day and will be part of a new home.🏡
Siempre me gusta tener a la mano algunas cositas extras, porque una nunca sabe cuándo se presentan momentos como este. Es una manera práctica de aprovechar lo que tengo tejido o los materiales que me van quedando de otros proyectos, y al mismo tiempo, dar un regalo hecho con el corazón.💚
La puntilla que elegí es de una sola vuelta, pero tiene un diseño que da la impresión de que se tejen dos vueltas, lo que me encanta. Es una puntilla sencilla, pero con un acabado delicado y vistoso. Me gusta los proyectos que se pueden tejer en poco tiempo, sin complicaciones, y aun así lucen tan bien.✨
Así que entre agujas, hilos y cariño, este lunes festivo empezó con un pequeño proyecto que me alegró el día y que será parte de un nuevo hogar.🏡
