Crochet flower rug, my new project🧶🌸
Greetings and blessings, my dear knitting friends. I hope you are all in good health and spirits.
This NeedleWorkMonday, I want to share with you the beginning of a project that I am very excited about. Sometimes ideas come like this, little by little, stitch by stitch, and that's how this flower rug was born, which is now beginning to take shape in my hands. I decided to start, enjoying the process and letting the weaving set its own pace.
I chose to work with two colors that I really like and that I feel complement each other well. I am crocheting some flowers in a soft, luminous melon tone, and others in a more intense, warm brick tone. The idea is to combine them, playing with the order and distribution, until I reach the size I have in mind for the rug.

Este lunes de aguja quiero compartir con ustedes el comienzo de un proyecto que me tiene muy entusiasmada. A veces las ideas llegan así, de a poco, puntada tras puntada, y así nació este tapete de flores que hoy empieza a tomar forma entre mis manos. Decidí empezar, disfrutando del proceso y dejando que el tejido marque su propio ritmo.
Elegí trabajar con dos colores que me gustan mucho y que siento que se complementan bien. Algunas flores las estoy tejiendo en un tono melón suave y luminoso, y otras en un tono ladrillo más intenso y cálido. La idea es ir combinándolas entre sí, jugando con el orden y la distribución, hasta alcanzar el tamaño que tengo en mente para el tapete.

Knitting these flowers is very easy and quick, which makes the project even more enjoyable. In no time at all, I will be able to see the result, and that encourages me to keep going, to prepare more balls of yarn, to knit more flowers, and to add new pieces.
As I knit, I imagine what the finished rug will look like, how the colors will come together, and how each flower will contribute to the whole. For now, this is just the beginning, a foundation on which to continue building. I like to think that big projects start this way, with something small, manageable, and made with a lot of love and dedication.
Today, I am sharing this first step with you, excited to show you the progress as the rug grows.🧶🌸
Tejer estas flores resulta muy sencillo y rápido, lo que hace que el proyecto sea aún más disfrutable. En poco tiempo podré ver el resultado, y eso me anima a seguir, a preparar más ovillos, tejer más florecitas y a sumar nuevas piezas.
Mientras tejo, voy imaginando cómo se verá el tapete terminado, cómo se unirán los colores y cómo cada flor aportará su lugar al conjunto. Por ahora, este es solo el inicio, una base sobre la que seguir construyendo. Me gusta pensar que los proyectos grandes empiezan así, con algo pequeño, manejable y hecho con mucho amor y dedicación.
Hoy, les comparto este primer paso, con la ilusión de ir mostrando el avance a medida que el tapete crezca.🧶🌸
