Converting grannys into beautiful hair bows
Greetings and blessings, my dear needle friends. I hope you are doing great with health and wellness.
Today, on this needlepoint Monday, I want to share another creation made from grannys. This crocheted design offers endless possibilities, and I love exploring new ways to take advantage of it. While I was working on the cardigan for my daughter, I was accumulating grannys, and I didn't want to keep the ones that were left without purpose. That's when I came up with the idea of turning them into accessories: beautiful hair bows.

Hoy, en este lunes de agujas, quiero compartir otra creación hecha a partir de grannys. Este diseño tejido a crochet ofrece infinitas posibilidades, y me encanta explorar nuevas formas de aprovecharlo. Mientras trabajaba en el cárdigan para mi hija, fui acumulando grannys, y no quería dejar guardados los que me quedaron sin propósito. Fue entonces cuando surgió la idea de convertirlos en accesorios: hermosos lazos para el cabello.
I carefully folded the grannys, shaped them into a loop and wove a ribbon to hold them in the center. Then, I added different types of fastenings. To some I added elastic tails to tie them to the hair, while to others I added clips, turning them into delicate and unique bows.
I loved the result. These bows are unique, handmade accessories, with that special and delicate touch that crochet brings. Once again I am glad I used grannys to create something as nice as these beautiful hair bows.
I leave you with the idea and I hope you are encouraged to make these bows with the grannys you have in your stash.
Doblé los grannys con cuidado, les di la forma de lazo y tejí una cinta para sujetarlos en el centro. Luego, les añadí distintos tipos de sujeción. A algunos les puse colitas elásticas para atarlos al cabello, mientras que a otros les añadí pinzas, convirtiéndolos en lazos delicados y únicos.
El resultado me encantó. Estos lazos son accesorios únicos, hechos a mano, con ese toque especial y delicado que aporta el crochet. Una vez más me alegro de haber usado grannys para crear algo tan bonito como estos hermosos lazos para el cabello.
Les dejo la idea y espero que se animen a elaborar estos lazos con los grannys que tienen por ahí guardados.
