Coasters with paw prints, a special creation🐾

For this Monday with a Needle, I want to share a project that I’ve enjoyed from the very beginning. A few days ago, I received a very special commission from a friend, who asked me to make some crocheted coasters with a very unique detail. From the moment he told me about his idea, I thought it was a beautiful and original concept, so I got to work with great enthusiasm.
The base of each coaster was crocheted in single crochet with black yarn. Once the main part was finished, it was time to add the detail that would give them personality—the one I showed you in this post: little paw prints applied to each piece.

Para este Lunes de Aguja quiero compartirles un proyecto de los que disfruto desde el primer momento. Hace unos días recibí un encargo muy especial de un amigo, quien me pidió elaborar unos posavasos tejidos con un detalle muy particular. Desde que me contó su idea me pareció una propuesta hermosa y diferente, así que me puse manos a la obra con mucho entusiasmo.
La base de cada posavaso fue tejida en puntos bajos con hilo negro. Una vez terminada la parte principal, llegó el momento de agregar el detalle que les daría personalidad y que les mostré en este post: unas huellitas aplicadas sobre cada pieza.

To attach the paw prints, I used fabric glue so the result would be exactly as I had imagined. I like to take the time to focus on those little details that give a handmade project that special touch. Each coaster was made with patience, care, and a lot of love. When I finally finished the set, I felt a great sense of satisfaction seeing the result. I loved how the little paw prints looked against the black background.
The best part came when I gave them to my friend. Seeing his reaction and knowing he liked them filled me with joy. It’s always very special when someone values handmade work and appreciates the time and dedication behind each creation. Without a doubt, this has been one of those projects I’ll remember fondly, and I wanted to share it with you today on this Needle Monday.
Para pegar las huellas lo hice con pega textil para que el resultado fuera exactamente lo que había imaginado. Me gusta dedicar tiempo a esos pequeños detalles que hacen que una labor artesanal tenga un toque especial. Cada posavaso fue elaborado con paciencia, atención y mucho cariño. Cuando finalmente terminé el conjunto, sentí una gran satisfacción al ver el resultado. Me encantó cómo lucían las huellitas sobre el fondo negro.
La mejor parte llegó cuando se los entregué a mi amigo. Ver su reacción y saber que le habían gustado me llenó de alegría. Siempre es muy especial cuando alguien valora el trabajo hecho a mano y aprecia el tiempo y la dedicación que hay detrás de cada creación. Sin duda, este ha sido uno de esos proyectos que recordaré con mucho cariño y que hoy quería compartir con ustedes en este Lunes de Aguja.
