Circular earrings with crystals, made with love💜

Continuing with the jewelry workshop I am participating in, today I want to show you the assignment I had left pending this week. I couldn't attend class on Tuesday because it coincided with my crochet café, so I had to catch up today when I had some free time. I took advantage of the calm morning to sit down with my materials and devote some time to this task that I had pending.💜

The pending project was a pair of circular earrings woven with lilac-colored crystals that I fell in love with the moment I saw them. I really like that color because it conveys delicacy, freshness, and a very feminine air that I love. I like what I'm learning in the workshop, although I confess that it's not always easy for me. Sometimes I feel like they don't turn out as neat as I would like, and that frustrates me a little. But I also tell myself that the important thing is to keep practicing and not give up.✨

Siguiendo con el taller de bisutería en el que estoy participando, hoy quiero mostrarles la tarea que me quedó pendiente esta semana. Les cuento que no pude asistir el martes a clase porque coincidió con mi café crochet, así que me tocó ponerme al día hoy que tengo tiempo libre. Aproveché la calma de la mañana para sentarme con mis materiales y dedicarle un buen rato a esta tarea que tenía en espera.💜

El proyecto pendiente eran unos aretes circulares tejidos con cristales en un tono lila que me enamoró desde el primer momento en que los vi. Ese color me gusta mucho porque transmite delicadeza, frescura y un aire muy femenino que me encanta. Lo que estoy aprendiendo en el taller me gusta, aunque confieso que no siempre me resulta fácil. A veces siento que no me quedan tan prolijos como yo quisiera, y eso me frustra un poquito. Pero también me digo a mí misma que lo importante es seguir practicando y no abandonar la tarea.✨

For these earrings, I used 18-gauge Goldfield wire for the base and 26-gauge wire for the weaving. The lilac crystals I used to decorate them give them a special touch. I thought they were beautiful and felt they gave the piece a delicate and elegant shine. When I finished assembling them and saw them ready, I really liked them.💎

This week, the teacher will review them, and I will be very attentive to her recommendations. I know she always has useful advice or tips to improve technique, and each comment is an opportunity to grow and learn a little more. For now, I am encouraged by the idea that these earrings are not for sale, they are for me. That gives me peace of mind because it allows me to make mistakes, learn, and, above all, enjoy the process. Just being able to make my own earrings, see them finished, and wear them is a big step forward for me. I know that with practice and patience, the time will come when I can make them with the quality I want to offer them for sale. In the meantime, I'm taking it step by step, enjoying each achievement.🌸

Para estos aretes utilicé alambre goldfield número 18 para la base y número 26 para el tejido. El toque especial se lo dan los cristales lilas que usé para decorarlos. Me parecieron preciosos y siento que le dieron un brillo delicado y elegante a la pieza. Cuando terminé de armarlos y los vi listos, me gustaron mucho.💎

Esta semana la profesora los revisará, y yo estaré muy atenta a sus recomendaciones. Sé que siempre tiene un consejo útil o un tip para mejorar la técnica, y cada comentario es una oportunidad para crecer y aprender un poco más. Por ahora, me animo con la idea de que estos aretes no son para vender, son para mí. Eso me da tranquilidad, porque me permite equivocarme, aprender y, sobre todo, disfrutar el proceso. Ya el simple hecho de poder hacer mis propios aretes, verlos terminados y ponérmelos, es para mí un gran avance. Sé que, con práctica y paciencia, llegará el momento en que pueda hacerlos con la calidad que quiero para ofrecerlos a la venta. Mientras tanto, voy paso a paso, disfrutando cada logro.🌸

I have to tell you that these earrings inspired me, and I wanted to give them a special place, so I prepared these beautiful photos to show them to you. I felt they deserved a careful presentation that reflected the love and effort I put into making them. I played around with the backgrounds in Canva, trying to make them look special.💜

Y les cuento que estos aretes me dejaron inspirada y quise darles un lugar especial, así que preparé estas fotos bonitas para mostrárselos. Sentí que se merecían una presentación cuidada, que reflejara el cariño y el esfuerzo que puse en hacerlos. Jugué un poco con los fondos en Canva, tratando de que se vieran de una manera especial.💜

Sí, amiga, ya hace un poco más de un mes que comencé y me gusta mucho. Ahí voy practicando, pero es cierto que se necesita de mucha paciencia, como en todo trabajo manual. Lo mejor es que voy disfrutando todo el proceso. Saludos y bendiciones.
