Café Vietnamita, a new flavor at Crepes & Waffles🍦

This Sunday we went for a walk around the city, taking advantage of the bike path. Blacky came with us, as he really enjoys these long walks. The weather was perfect and we were in the mood to keep going, so we headed to Crepes & Waffles with a very clear intention. I had seen that they were already promoting their seasonal ice cream a few days earlier, and that was the perfect excuse to take a break and treat ourselves to something sweet.

I confess that I have a weakness for Crepes & Waffles' seasonal ice creams. I love stopping by, trying them, and being surprised by the new flavors that keep appearing. This time, the star was the Vietnamese Coffee ice cream, a mixture of coffee ice cream with condensed milk that, for those of us who enjoy coffee, is very tempting.

I loved the combination. The coffee flavor is the star, intense and well-defined, while the condensed milk appears very subtly, just to round out the experience. It seems unbelievable, but it's not a cloying ice cream; on the contrary, it feels balanced and very pleasant.

We sat for a while enjoying it and savoring our ice cream. I definitely loved this Vietnamese Coffee and will surely have it again before it disappears from the menu.
