Being true to oneself, the greatest achievement
Greetings, my dear Hive Ladies. Happy day, I hope you are all doing well and enjoying good health and well-being.
Today I want to share my participation in edition #251 of the contest that the Hive Ladies invite us to participate in every week. On this occasion, I will answer one of the questions proposed by our friend @trucklife-family this week:
- Looking back on your life, what are the moments you are most proud of, when you remained true to your core beliefs?
Throughout my life, I have experienced moments that fill me with deep pride, because I have managed to move forward without straying from my beliefs and maintaining my principles and values.
Saludos, mis queridas Damas de Hive. Feliz día, espero que se encuentren muy bien con abundante salud y bienestar.
Hoy quiero compartir mi participación en la edición #251 del concurso al que nos invitan, semanalmente, las Damas de Hive. En esta ocasión, daré respuesta a una de las preguntas que nos ha propuesto la amiga @trucklife-family esta semana:
- Mirando hacia atrás en tu vida, ¿cuáles son los momentos de los que estás más orgulloso, en los que te mantuviste fiel a tus creencias fundamentales?
A lo largo de mi vida, he vivido momentos que me llenan de profundo orgullo, porque he logrado avanzar sin apartarme de mis creencias y manteniendo mis principios y valores.

Firstly, I am very proud of how I have managed my family life for over thirty years. I have always tried to instill values in my family. For me, the most important thing is how things are done in this life: with love, dedication, authenticity, and gratitude.
Another of the most significant moments that makes me feel proud today was when I decided to leave behind what I knew and embark on a new path in another country. It was a step full of uncertainty, with fears and doubts, but also with the conviction that I had to move forward without losing my essence, and I promised myself to work with dedication as always and build each step from a place of gratitude.
Another special moment that makes me feel proud is when I share with the community around me on the new path I have embarked upon. I feel that I honor the kindness and empathy that Venezuelans carry in our blood. In those moments, my heart is filled with satisfaction because I know that my actions reflect what I truly believe: that there is always room to give joy, listen, and offer companionship.
Lo primero es que me siento muy orgullosa de cómo he llevado mi vida familiar por más de treinta años. He procurado siempre que esté impregnada de valores. Para mí lo más importante es la manera en que se hacen las cosas en esta vida: con cariño, dedicación, autenticidad y gratitud.
Otro de los momentos más significativos que hoy me hace sentir orgullosa fue cuando decidí dejar atrás lo conocido y emprender un nuevo camino en otro país. Fue un paso lleno de incertidumbre, con miedos y dudas, pero también con la convicción de que debía avanzar sin perder mi esencia y me prometí trabajar con dedicación como siempre y construir cada paso desde el agradecimiento.
Otro instante especial que me hace sentir orgullosa es cuando comparto con la comunidad que me rodea en el nuevo camino emprendido. Siento que honro la bondad y la empatía que llevamos en la sangre los venezolanos. En esos momentos, mi corazón se llena de satisfacción porque sé que mis actos reflejan lo que creo de verdad: que siempre hay espacio para dar alegría, escucha y compañía.

Looking back, I realize that what makes me most proud is having achieved what I set out to do without compromising my convictions. That consistency between what I believe and what I do is, for me, the real triumph.
The lesson I have learned is clear: life will always test us, but what really sustains us is not betraying who we are. Staying true to our values means planting firm roots so we can grow with peace and authenticity.
Al mirar atrás, me doy cuenta de que lo que me hace sentir más orgullosa es haber alcanzado lo que me he propuesto sin renunciar a mis convicciones. Esa coherencia entre lo que creo y lo que hago es, para mí, el verdadero triunfo.
La enseñanza que me queda es clara: la vida siempre nos pondrá pruebas, pero lo que realmente nos sostiene es no traicionar lo que somos. Mantenerse fiel a los propios valores es sembrar raíces firmes para crecer con paz y autenticidad.
