Beautiful double-zigzag bracelet, a challenge overcome
Greetings, dear friends of #lifestyle. I hope you’re all doing well and staying healthy.
In my jewelry-making class, I learned to work with wire in a way that was different from what I was used to. The real challenge was shaping it, creating a sort of zigzag pattern that intertwines to form the structure of the bracelet. It looks simple when you see the finished product, but getting each curve to stay in place, ensuring the shapes maintained a certain symmetry, and making the wire obey my hands—that was quite a challenge!

En mi curso de bisutería aprendí a trabajar el alambre de una manera diferente a la que estaba acostumbrada. El verdadero reto estuvo en darle forma, creando una especie de ondas en zigzag que se entrelazan y van formando la estructura de la pulsera. Parece sencillo cuando la ves terminada, pero conseguir que cada curva quedara en su lugar, que las formas mantuvieran cierta simetría y que el alambre obedeciera a mis manos, ¡fue todo un desafío!

As I worked with the wire, I was also learning to be patient, to pay attention to the small details, and to understand that in crafts, not everything turns out perfect the first time. Sometimes you have to undo your work, make corrections, try again, and trust that, little by little, your hands will learn.
When it came time to decorate it, I chose Murano glass beads in different shades of green: some softer, others more intense, and some with that beautiful turquoise hue that brings so much life to the piece. I loved how the colors found their place among the golden waves of the wire.
Seeing it finished gave me a great sense of satisfaction, as it was a challenge I managed to overcome and something new I learned.
Mientras trabajaba el alambre, también estaba aprendiendo a tener paciencia, a observar los pequeños detalles y a entender que en las manualidades no todo sale perfecto a la primera. A veces hay que deshacer, corregir, volver a intentar y confiar en que, poco a poco, las manos van aprendiendo.
Cuando llegó el momento de decorarla, elegí muranos en diferentes tonos de verde: algunos más suaves, otros intensos y algunos con ese hermoso tono turquesa que aporta mucha vida. Me encantó cómo los colores fueron encontrando su lugar entre las ondas doradas del alambre.
Al verla terminada sentí mucha satisfacción, pues es un reto que logré superar y algo nuevo que aprendí.
