An exposition created with talent and care🎨🖼️

This past Wednesday, I had the chance to enjoy a beautiful exhibition put together by a group of incredibly talented women who showed us amazing pieces created using the decoupage technique. Truly, every piece had its own charm and showcased all the love, patience, and dedication they poured into every detail.
There were pieces on ceramics, wood, and also decorated candles that looked like they were straight out of an elegant store. I was really surprised by each artist’s creativity, because even though they used the same technique, every project had its own personality. Some pieces featured delicate flowers, others had vintage designs, and there were also colorful, cheerful pieces that made me want to take everything home.

Este miércoles pasado tuve la oportunidad de disfrutar una exposición hermosa realizada por un grupo de señoras súper talentosas que nos mostraron trabajos increíbles hechos con la técnica de decoupage. De verdad que cada pieza tenía su encanto y demostraba todo el cariño, la paciencia y la dedicación que pusieron en cada detalle.
Había trabajos sobre cerámica, madera y también velas decoradas que parecían sacadas de una tienda elegante. Me sorprendió muchísimo la creatividad de cada una, porque aunque usaban la misma técnica, cada proyecto tenía personalidad propia. Algunas piezas tenían flores delicadas, otros diseños vintage y también había trabajos coloridos y alegres que daban ganas de llevarse todo para la casa.

The best part of these get-togethers always ends up being the sharing. As always, we had a wonderful time chatting, laughing, and enjoying each other’s company. As is our custom, there was no shortage of appetizers, fresh fruit, and snacks—the kind of treats that always brighten up the table and make the morning feel even more special. Between cups of coffee and aromatic teas, conversations, and plenty of photos of our work, time flew by.
I love experiencing these moments and dedicating time to the things that make me happy. It was a simple morning, but one filled with warmth, friendship, and creativity that I’ll cherish as a beautiful memory, and I’m already looking forward to next Wednesday’s crafters’ gathering with excitement.
Lo más bonito de estos encuentros siempre termina siendo el compartir. Como siempre, disfrutamos muchísimo conversar, reírnos y pasar un rato agradable entre amigas. Como ya es costumbre, no faltaron los pasapalos, las frutitas y los bocadillos que siempre alegran la mesa y hacen que la mañana se sienta todavía más especial. Entre cafecitos y aromáticas, conversaciones y muchas fotos de los trabajos, el tiempo pasó rapidísimo.
Me encanta vivir estos espacios y dedicar tiempo a las cosas que me hacen feliz. Fue una mañana sencilla, pero llena de cariño, amistad y creatividad que guardaré como un recuerdo bonito y que ya espero con emoción el próximo miércoles de artesanas.
