An afternoon of crocheting,learning,and good luck🧶✨
Greetings and blessings, my dear knitting friends. I hope you are all in good health and spirits and that you have a very productive weekend.
This Saturday afternoon, I treated myself to something very special: I attended an in-person crochet workshop to learn how to knit a shawl. From the moment I saw the invitation, I knew it was the perfect opportunity to continue learning and also to share with other knitters who love needles as much as I do.
There was something about the workshop that I loved: the yarn was included. We just had to bring our size 4 crochet hook, so it was very easy to get ready to go. Everything started right on time at 2:00 p.m., which I really appreciated because it made the three-hour class go by quickly.
The teacher guided us step by step, and between explanations, demonstrations, and our eagerness to learn, the time flew by. Before 5:00 p.m., we had already knitted the 11 basic rows we needed to learn in order to continue the shawl at home with confidence. I really like it when you leave a workshop with a clear understanding of the basics and the enthusiasm to continue knitting.

Este sábado en la tarde me regalé un espacio muy especial: asistà a un taller presencial de crochet para aprender a tejer un chal. Desde que vi la invitación me pareció una oportunidad perfecta para seguir aprendiendo y, además, compartir con otras tejedoras que aman las agujas tanto como yo.
El taller tenÃa algo que me encantó: las lanas ya estaban incluidas. Nosotras solo tenÃamos que llevar nuestra aguja número 4, asà que fue muy fácil prepararse para ir. Todo comenzó puntual a las 2:00 p.m. de la tarde, algo que agradecà muchÃsimo porque eso hizo que las tres horas de curso realmente rindieran.
La profesora nos fue guiando paso a paso y, entre explicaciones, demostraciones y muchas ganas de aprender, el tiempo se fue volando. Antes de las 5:00 p.m. de la tarde ya habÃamos tejido las 11 vueltas básicas que necesitábamos aprender para poder continuar el chal en casa con seguridad. Me gusta mucho cuando en un taller uno sale con las bases claras y con el entusiasmo de seguir tejiendo.

At the end, they held a raffle among the participants, and I was one of the lucky winners! You can't imagine how excited I was. The gift was beautiful: a notebook for taking notes, two needles, and some bright yellow macramé thread that I loved.
It was a really productive afternoon: I learned something new, shared with other crochet lovers, and even got an unexpected gift. I left the class feeling very happy.
And before this productive and beautiful Saturday comes to an end, I wanted to come and tell you all about it and share it with my dear needle-loving friends. 🧶✨
Al final hicieron unas rifas entre las participantes, ¡y yo fui una de las afortunadas ganadoras! No se imaginan la emoción. El regalo estaba precioso: una libreta para anotaciones, dos agujas y un hilo de macramé de un amarillo intenso que me encantó.
La verdad fue una tarde de mucho provecho: aprendà algo nuevo, compartà con otras amantes del crochet y además me llevé un regalito inesperado. Salà del curso muy feliz.
Y antes de que termine este sábado tan productivo y bonito, quise venir a contárselo y compartirlo con mis queridas amigas de las agujas. 🧶✨
