Admiring my geranium in bloom(EN-ES)

Greetings, friends of the community. I hope you are doing very well and may the blessings of health and well-being multiply for all of you.

Today I want to tell you about a little adventure I had recently. Walking one of these mornings, I came across a red geranium that was leafy and with many flowers. It is common to see them in parks, gardens and on sidewalks, they take care of themselves, thanks to the weather and give us their beauty every day.

This geranium was on a sidewalk, so, without thinking twice, and like a plant lady, but with a bit of sorrow, I looked around and gently removed a stick to take it home and plant it in a pot I had unoccupied.

Hoy quiero contarles sobre una pequeña aventura que tuve recientemente. Caminando una de estas mañanas, me encontré con un geranio rojo que estaba frondoso y con muchas flores. Es común verlos en los parques, jardines y en las aceras, se cuidan solitos, gracias al clima y nos regalan su belleza todos los días.

Este geranio estaba en una acera, así que, sin pensarlo dos veces, y como toda una señora de las plantas, pero con un poco de pena, vi para todos lados y con delicadeza le quité un palito para llevarlo a casa y sembrarlo en una maceta que tenía desocupada.

I planted it in the pot with fresh soil and watered it very carefully. In between days, I made sure it had enough water and placed it in a place where it would receive the necessary sunlight. To my surprise, after several days, I saw that the roots began to stick firmly to the soil, which was a sign that my street geranium was beginning to adapt to its new home and was responding well to my care.

Suddenly, I noticed that the little plant had started to put out flowers. They were small and bright red. I was thrilled to see those flowers and felt that bringing it home had been worth it. It's amazing how something so simple can bring so much joy and satisfaction, that's why I love plants and if they have flowers even more.

Seeing the new little plant I brought home to add to my little garden, I make the reflection that sometimes we just need a little care and patience to see something beautiful like this red geranium in bloom.

La sembré en la maceta con tierra fresca y la regué con mucho cuidado. Entre días, me aseguraba de que tuviera suficiente agua y la colocaba en un lugar donde recibiera la luz del sol necesaria. Para mi sorpresa, después de varios días, vi que las raíces comenzaron a pegarse firmemente a la tierra, lo cual era una señal de que mi geranio callejero estaba empezando a adaptarse a su nuevo hogar y estaba respondiendo bien a mis cuidados.

De repente, noté que la plantita había empezado a echar flores. Eran pequeñas y de un rojo vivo. Me emocionó ver esas flores y sentí que traerla a casa había valido la pena, pues se hizo la magia y mi geranio floreció. Es increíble cómo algo tan simple puede traer tanta alegría y satisfacción, por eso me encantan las plantas y si echan flores mucho más.

Viendo la nueva matita que traje para sumar a mi pequeño jardín, hago la reflexión de que, a veces, solo necesitamos un poco de cuidado y paciencia para ver florecer algo hermoso como este geranio rojo en flor.
