A quiet Saturday and some new earrings💗✨
Greetings and blessings, dear friends of #lifestyle. I hope you are all well, healthy, and happy, and that these days are filled with blessings in the company of your loved ones.
This Saturday morning, I sat down for a while with the idea of getting “a little bit” ahead on some new earrings, and you know how that story ends. I ended up completely immersed in the process, creating some new earrings that I had seen on social media and had been on my mind for a while. This time I wanted to make them in the shape of hoops, with a delicate, continuous weave that, as soon as I started, I knew I was going to love making.
I didn't take any photos of the process because time just slipped through my fingers. For me, making pieces by weaving with 26-gauge wire is both the most difficult and the most beautiful thing. It requires patience, a steady hand, and attention. I wanted them to be really pretty, with no details out of place, with that perfect balance between firmness and softness that can only be achieved when you put your heart into what you do.

Esta mañana de sábado me senté un rato con la idea de adelantar “un poquito” unos nuevos zarcillos, y ya saben cómo termina esa historia. Terminé completamente metida en el proceso, creando unos nuevos zarcillos que había visto en las redes y tenía tiempo rondándome la cabeza. Esta vez quise hacerlos en forma de argollas, con un tejido delicado y continuo que, apenas empecé, supe que me iba a encantar hacer.
No tomé fotos del proceso, porque el tiempo simplemente se me pasó entre los dedos. Hacer piezas tejiendo con alambre 26, para mí, es lo más difícil y lo más hermoso a la vez. Requiere paciencia, pulso y atención. Yo quería que quedaran realmente lindos, sin detalles fuera de lugar, con ese equilibrio justo entre firmeza y suavidad que solo se logra cuando se pone dedicación a lo que se hace.

The gold wire was transformed into an elegant, delicate design with movement. When I finally finished them and saw them together, I felt that satisfaction that only things made with love and time can give.
Then I placed them on this little pink knitted heart, which has been with me for a while and seemed like the perfect backdrop: soft, warm, homey. I like how the gold stands out against the fabric, and how delicate, firm, and luminous it looks.
It was a creative, unhurried, and very productive morning. 💗✨
El alambre dorado se fue transformando en un diseño elegante, delicado y con movimiento. Al final, cuando las terminé y las vi juntas, sentí esa satisfacción que solo dan las cosas hechas con amor y tiempo.
Después las apoyé sobre este pequeño corazón tejido en rosado, que me acompaña desde hace rato y que me pareció el fondo perfecto: suave, cálido, hogareño. Me gusta cómo el dorado resalta sobre el tejido, y como se ve delicado, firme y luminoso.
Fue una mañana creativa, sin apuros, y muy productiva. 💗✨
