A news that makes me proud as a mother(EN-ES)
Today my heart beats with a mixture of emotion, pride and gratitude that I find it hard to describe in words. Last night my Sofi gave us some news that touched me deeply: she was chosen to give the speech at her graduate ceremony, in recognition of her excellent academic performance. She gave us the good news in such a beautiful and original way. She bought a pancake and sent her to write: I will give the degree speech He asked me to uncover the cake and when I opened it, the surprise was as great as the joy that overflowed me at that instant. I could not hold back my tears of emotion. Then we celebrated the news with some divine cocktails prepared by my son-in-law.
Seeing her come this far, in a country that has also challenged her and made her grow, makes me think of everything she has gone through to reach this achievement. It has not been an easy road, but it has been full of perseverance, long nights, effort and clear goals. She has always had her eyes set firmly on her dreams and her heart ready to work for them.
Hoy mi corazón late con una mezcla de emoción, orgullo y gratitud que me cuesta describir con palabras. Anoche mi Sofi nos dio una noticia que me conmovió profundamente: fue elegida para dar el discurso en su acto de postgrado, como reconocimiento a su excelente rendimiento académico. Nos dio la buena nueva de una forma tan bonita y original. Compró una tortita y le mando a escribir: Daré el discurso de grado Me pidió que destapara la torta y cuando abrí, la sorpresa fue tan grande como la alegría que me desbordó en ese instante. No pude contener mis lágrimas de emoción. Luego celebramos la noticia con unos cocteles divinos que preparó mi yerno.
Verla llegar hasta aquí, en un país que también la ha retado y la ha hecho crecer, me hace pensar en todo lo que ha recorrido para alcanzar este logro. No ha sido un camino fácil, pero sí lleno de constancia, de noches largas, de esfuerzo y de metas claras. Siempre ha tenido la mirada firme en sus sueños y el corazón dispuesto a trabajar por ellos.
As a mom, seeing her being recognized not only for her knowledge, but also for her dedication and commitment, fills my soul. It is one of those moments when you feel that everything has been worth it, that the words of encouragement, the endless hugs and the prayers whispered to heaven, have borne fruit.
I am so happy for her, so grateful for this gift of life because beyond the speech she will deliver, her story already speaks for itself: a story written with effort, with values, and with much love.
Thank you, daughter, for this enormous pride and emotion. As we always tell you, dreams do come true when they are walked with determination. May this be just the beginning of many more achievements. I love and admire you deeply
Como mamá, verla ser reconocida no solo por sus conocimientos, sino también por su dedicación y compromiso, me llena el alma. Es uno de esos momentos en los que se siente que todo ha valido la pena, que las palabras de aliento, los abrazos infinitos y las oraciones susurradas al cielo, han dado fruto.
Estoy tan feliz por ella, tan agradecida por este regalo de la vida porque más allá del discurso que pronunciará, su historia ya habla por sí sola: una historia escrita con esfuerzo, con valores, y con mucho amor.
Gracias, hija, por este orgullo y esta emoción enorme. Como siempre te decimos, los sueños sí se cumplen cuando se caminan con determinación. Que este sea solo el comienzo de muchos logros más. Te amo y te admiro profundamente.
