A lovingly knitted gift for a cute baby girl(EN-ES)
Greetings and blessings, friends of the needles. I hope you are in good health and well being and that you have a great weekend with lots of inspiration.
Today I want to tell you that I knitted another headband, headband or headband, as it is also known, to give to a baby and I was delighted with the result. This time I chose a very soft melon color because it conveys tenderness and delicacy. I wanted it to be a delicate, sweet and special detail, so I got down to work with great enthusiasm.
I started by weaving a base chain stitch and from there I worked a simple combination of ribbon and shells, which allowed me to create small spaces through which I then passed a fabric ribbon of the same color. This idea of weaving the ribbon through the fabric gave it a very nice and elegant touch.

Hoy quiero contarles que tejí otra diadema, cintillo o vincha, como también se le conoce, para regalar a una bebé y quedé encantada con el resultado. Esta vez elegí un tono color melón muy suave porque al verlo transmite ternura y delicadeza. Quería que fuera un detalle delicado, dulce y especial, así que me puse manos a la obra con mucha ilusión.
Empecé tejiendo una cadeneta base y a partir de allí trabajé una combinación sencilla de pasacinta y conchitas, que me permitió crear pequeños espacios por donde luego pasé una cinta de tela del mismo color. Esa idea de entrelazar la cinta a través del tejido le dio un toque muy bonito y elegante.

To finish it off, I crocheted a small flower, also in crochet, and sewed it right in the center of the headband. That detail was like the icing on the cake: it completed the design and made it even more special. I love how it turned out, so delicate and fine.
I really enjoyed making this gift because it is easy to knit. While I was making it I was thinking about the baby who will receive it, how it will look on her, and her mother's smile when she receives it. Knitting with love always shows in the result. It is a small detail, but full of love and dedication. And that, for me, is the most valuable and meaningful thing.
Para terminarla, tejí una florecita pequeña, también a crochet, y la cosí justo en el centro de la diadema. Ese detalle fue como la cereza del pastel: completó el diseño y lo hizo aún más especial. Me encanta cómo quedó, tan delicada y fina.
Disfruté muchísimo hacer este regalito porque es fácil de tejer. Mientras lo hacía pensaba en la bebé que lo recibirá, en cómo se le verá puesto, en la sonrisa de su mamá al recibirlo. Tejer con amor siempre se nota en el resultado. Es un detalle pequeño, pero lleno de cariño y dedicación. Y eso, para mí, es lo más valioso y significativo.

Quedó hermosa, muy delicada y tierna para esa bebé. La rosa en el centro fue el detalle final perfecto.
