Where is Meaning ?
Sometimes wealth turns out to be a burden and we feel it later when we have pretty little time and chances to be there. We cherish to be in the moments that we passed and then they turned out to be unwanted, but from that moment to now, there are miles behind and enough time that has passed.
I am talking about a person who was the most successful businessman in his time nationally. He used to live in the big city of the country and quite normally as for to get hold of the grip of the businesses that he had, it was quite certain to move around the city in different places at a time. To run the bunch of businesses, he was super busy and the loads of work he used to maintain for nearly 3 decades in a row.
Now, to get busy he were to toil much, and it was his habit to look for a much more productive life than what he expected. Doing the same thing again and again, being cautious at the losses and cutting out expenses let him to be a consequential winner.
He used to be a guy who could buy a lot of things within his allocation of money. It needed to have the desire, but he never let his emotions or wishes to come to fruition. He valued money and that was the only thing he devoted and successfully continued for decades of time.
Occasionally, at different times, his wife wanted him to be close to her, but he excused of his busy schedules. Those excuses were timely things to intervene the fulfilment of her wife's wishes to come true. Neglecting family functions for years and years of time enabled him to move boldly in life, gaining a lot of things and at the same time losing things simultaneously too.
Now, he thinks of the fact that - million dollar in pocket is useless to have when there is no time left in the span of youth. Youth comes and then go in a moment's time. When it is lost, it is hard to get it back.Special people who used to be there in life, they no longer exist.
Having the feeling is harsh for him at this stage, and he could feel it. He decides now to look and reflect at the time. He watches kids and young lads and ladies to grow up, that they wander here and there in search of things that have a good value, not meanings attached, but merriment.
Sometime they say, it is wise to be foolish and also more valuable things are merriment than meaning. They do show true colours in the end when we just have the time left to introspect, look out and then reflect things out of life. They do have actual meaning .
The difference is in life, we know about it -- sooner or later. That's the actual distinction.
