While we talk about sports, the process by which we participate in it and bring forth the message ; all three of it is equally important thing. There are over 10-15 of sporting events that are hosted by more than 50 countries of the world ; Asia, Europe and America - most prominently.

But we see less number of them that they get the maximum popularity. Although there are quitr possible reasons of that happening where some of the sports do pop top in the list, the rest of them lag behind. Just as economy and the politics, sports is also the sector which is highly competitive and the race is on to surpass one and the another and be ahead.

Its quite similar a fact if I point to how FIFA is well ahead of the others and when ICC has a downgraded value and popularity as of football has. Its a matter of branding and the number of sponsors a regulatory authority has where the rest of them fall short of that support. If I ask you why do cricket has lower fan base and quite less number of nations are in the membership tag of the respective regulatory authorities ?

Why FIFA has more nations in its entity and ICC has a few nations that hold the prestige of international cricket ?

Well the question is not tough to answer, but I mean there are other important factors which are liable for the reason. Cricket is naturally an expensive sport and you do hardly see all the other nations have large and sufficient cricketing infrastructure. They really do not have that money or economy invested in the system of cricketing playground. It is also tough a sport to play while cricket comes in front of the context.

Whatever that is each time Olympic is hosted, I look at the nations that have participated in the different stages. They are many and truth be told we can't even see cricket is played. The main reason is cricket isn’t ready for all the teams to play and global competency is far less than football.

But comparatively football or soccer is much enjoyable than cricket. Let me share one of my stories.

It was a time when soccer world cup was going on. I have had a nice arrangements to watch and enjoy the matches of my favourite teams in the giant screen.I ordered the fellow neighbours and friends to arrange the money to hire the giant screen all across the period the world cup would be hosted, from day one to the dayof final.

Most probably the craziness of football world cup in South East Asia is unmatched to any other non playing nations. This part of the world dont participate in the world cup, as they don’t naturally qualify for the main stage. Yet, the fans are divided into teams, such as : Argentina, Brazil, Spain, Germany & Portugal.

Flags are hoisted top of the stick pole of the building and the excitements are rare to see most often. FIFA world cup embraces the whole world with harmony and I dont think so anyone left behind to see what happens when the greatest soccer players start to retire and they enthrall the fans with their magical performance .

Some of the players even marked their names as legends by showing us the events we as a fans never have seen before, yet we dont forget their names in centuries time. I guess you have your story as well.

Soccer world cup is a happy memory for us, by think in cricketting infrastructure there are even more to develop and other nations should be made sure that their participations are well guaranteed. If we could do it well, we might see the world to change with sports.
