There are different trading techniques which are applied by different traders. Some prefer indicators while some dont give value to these indicators rather they prefer ICT method, market structure, demand/supply.

If I say about myself I do not recommend trading based on indicators. The main reason is it lags. It does not give real time signals which helps you for trading. Its better to go for the techniques which has real time signals and also works intantly.

long side trade

Among many techniques I am discussing the most simple one which is 80% working. You have heard about demand/supply strategy or also known as support/resistance.

This strategy works fine and the main reason is that there are lot of stop loss in these zones which helps the price revert or breakout. This is better to know the best levels of supports and resistance levels which will help you to find the best price to enter or exit the market.

The more times the candle rejected from support or resistance level the stronger is that point. Now, the question is when to enter the trade, when to know the market will not respect the support line or it will breakout from resistance level.

This is the main point to understand. For that you have to wait for the retracement, once it is retraced you can take the best trade which will probably give you more wins.

Let suppose BTC is standing at resistance level, we are now looking for breakout but its not the level to get enter rather you must wait for the retracement to confirm the breakout entry.

short side trade

Same is the case with the breakout towards downside. Dont enter the market until retracement is not confirmed. It will give you more clear sign after the retracement which will surely increase you win percentage.
