Sharing Mother’s Day 💐- Compartiendo el día de las Madres 💐💕 [ENG-ESP]

Hi beautiful souls of this lovely community, I hope you’ve had a nice week. Today I wanted to share a little bit about how our Mother’s Day went. After several days of planning with my sister how to surprise our mom, we had a clear idea: go out to eat at a nice restaurant on the east side of the city. But, as it often happens, plans changed at the last minute.
Our family in El Tocuyo invited us to spend Mother’s Day there, with a barbecue included. And well, it sounded perfect! So we left the city for a bit and went to spend the day surrounded by family, good food, and lots of laughter.
I helped by making a really tasty guasacaca(because it’s a must), others took care of the yuca, and of course, someone took charge of the grill with the chicken. It was a super fun day, full of long conversations and stories that never seemed to end. And even though the plan changed, I think that’s what made it special.
The food was delicious, and to top it all off, at night we had some acemitas tocuyanas that were… wow, just too good! 😍
Unfortunately, I don’t have many family pictures from that day, just a few I took with my sister, but I’ll keep the memories and the beautiful energy we felt all day long. 💛

Holis personitas de esta Hermosa comunidad, espero hayan tenido una linda semana. Hoy decidi compartir con ustedes UN Poco de lo que fue El dia de las madres. Después de varios días planeando con mi hermana qué hacer para sorprender a mamá, teníamos una idea clara: salir a comer a algún restaurante bonito al este de la ciudad. Pero como suele pasar, los planes cambiaron a último minuto. Nuestra familia en El Tocuyo nos invitó a pasar el Día de las Madres allá, con parrillada incluida. Y bueno, ¡nos pareció perfecto! Así que dejamos la ciudad atrás por un rato y nos fuimos a pasar el día rodeadas de familia, comida rica y muchas risas. Yo ayudé haciendo una guasacaca bien sabrosa (porque no puede faltar), otros se encargaron de la yuca, y claro, hubo quien se puso al mando de la parrilla con el pollo. Fue un día súper divertido, lleno de conversaciones y anécdotas que no se terminaban nunca. Y aunque el plan cambió, creo que eso fue lo que lo hizo especial. La comida quedó deliciosa, y para cerrar con broche de oro, en la noche comimos unas acemitas tocuyanas que estaban... ¡ufff, demasiado buenas! 😍 Lamentablemente no tengo muchas fotos familiares de ese día, solo algunas que me tomé con mi hermana, pero igual me quedo con los recuerdos y la vibra tan bonita que se sintió todo el día. 💛
