¡Saludos comunidad! En el reto de esta semana quiero compartir con ustedes una estrategia combinando los Splinters Dragón y Agua para combatir ofensivas enemigas basadas en daño mágico. En partidas con un límite de maná alto, y cuyas reglas implican el uso de daño mágico. Hago énfasis en esos aspectos del conjunto de reglas porque son los que me condujeron a la elaboración de la estrategia.

En esta oportunidad, les explicaré cómo afronté una batalla de ranked de la liga de Plata en el formato Moderno, enfocándome en destacar la importancia de tomar en cuenta el conjunto de reglas para formar nuestras estrategias. Adicionalmente del conjunto de habilidades que deseemos combinar.

Ya que estos aspectos son un factor clave con un impacto considerable en el desempeño de nuestras estrategias.

Hablemos sobre el conjunto de reglas presentes en la batalla, este es el punto de partida para iniciar el análisis que nos llevará a la elección más adecuada para afrontar la batalla.

Límite de maná igual a 44 puntos, esta cantidad nos da holgura para la elección de invocadores legendarios, y algunos monstruos fuertes con el maná restante.

Briar Patch es una regla que otorga la habilidad “Thorns” a todos los monstruos presentes en la batalla. La habilidad “Thorns” hace 2 puntos de daño físico al enemigo cuando alguno de nuestros monstruos recibe daño físico. Por otra parte, la regla Melee Mayhem permite que los monstruos con daño físico puedan atacar desde cualquier posición. Debido a esto, la mejor opción es utilizar monstruos con daño mágico o de rango, y en el caso de los monstruos con daño físico, tendrían que contar con la habilidad “Reflect Shield”, la cual anula los efectos de la habilidad “Thorns”. De lo contrario, su elección implicaría una desventaja.

Entonces, tomando en cuenta todos estos aspectos, decidí combinar a los Splinters Dragón y Agua para aplicar una estrategia con el invocador Lily Shieldpaw y el monstruo Baakjira.

Hablemos sobre el equipo, y la estrategia que conforma. Dadas las circunstancias de la batalla, lo recomendable era usar daño mágico o de rango, es por ello que surge la importancia de contrarrestarlos. Por lo que decidí utilizar al invocador Lily Shieldpaw con el propósito de concentrar todo el daño enemigo en la primera posición de mi equipo mediante la habilidad “Camouflage” que otorga. Asimismo, también tomar ventaja del punto de vida que añade a todo el equipo, y el soporte mediante la habilidad “Triage”.

Vrux ocupó la primera posición temporalmente con la finalidad de incrementar los atributos de Baakjira mediante su habilidad “Martyr”.

Baakjira fue el tanque en esta oportunidad, ya que cuenta con una buena cantidad de vida, y las habilidades: “Void”, “Slow” y “Strengthen”. Las cuales le permiten resistir el daño mágico, reducir en 1 punto la velocidad del equipo enemigo, e incrementar en 1 punto la vida de todo el equipo, respectivamente.

Tide Biter ocupó la tercera posición para contribuir con el daño desde la segunda fila una vez pasara a la segunda posición. Cabe destacar que esto sería posible gracias a su habilidad “Reach”. Por otra parte, su habilidad “Reflection Shield” le permite evitar los efectos de la habilidad “Thorns”, y proteger al resto del equipo de posibles daños con la habilidad “Blast”.

Merdaali Guardian ocupó la cuarta posición con el propósito de dar soporte a Baakjira mediante su habilidad “Tank Heal”.

Chaos Dragon ocupó la quinta posición con la finalidad de debilitar a la segunda fila enemiga mediante sus habilidades: “Scattershot” y “Blast”.

Oshuur Constantia ocupó la última posición con el propósito de revivir a “Vrux” mediante su habilidad “Resurrect” para incrementar por segunda vez los atributos de Baakjira mediante su habilidad “Martyr”. Asimismo, también contribuir con su daño desde la segunda fila.

Tal y como les mencioné anteriormente, usar a un invocador que permitiera concentrar todo el daño enemigo en la primera posición de mi equipo fue una buena opción. También es importante incluir habilidades de soporte que le permitan a nuestro tanque y al resto del equipo resistir lo suficiente.

Observen como para el turno 5 de la ronda 5, el equipo enemigo estaba casi abatido. Vrux cumplió el objetivo de incrementar los atributos de Baakjira 2 veces. Asimismo, Baakjira en conjunto a la asistencia de Merdaali Guardian resistió el daño enemigo durante la batalla. Por otra parte, Chaos Dragon logró debilitar al equipo enemigo con la ayuda de Oshuur Constantia y Tide Biter.

La estrategia planteada hizo un uso eficiente de la cantidad de maná disponible, cubriendo aspectos tales como: resistencia contra el daño enemigo, soporte del equipo, una buena ofensiva, y coherencia con el conjunto de reglas presente.

Una debilidad de esta estrategia es una ofensiva enemiga basada en un elevado daño de rango, ya que podría superar la capacidad de resistencia de Baakjira, desequilibrando fuertemente la estrategia.

La diferencia entre las estrategias fue que el enemigo no usó habilidades de soporte como: “Tank Heal” y “Triage” para aumentar la resistencia de sus monstruos. Ni usó la habilidad “Affliction” para anular la capacidad de curación de mi estrategia.

Para una adecuada sinergia de nuestras estrategias es importante considerar todos los aspectos involucrados, por lo que no sólo debemos enfocarnos en los atributos y habilidades a combinar. También debemos tener en cuenta la influencia de los conjuntos de reglas sobre la estrategia.

Greetings community! In this week's challenge I want to share with you a strategy combining the Dragon and Water Splinters to combat enemy offensives based on magic damage. In games with a high mana limit, and whose rules involve the use of magic damage. I emphasize those aspects of the rule set because they are the ones that led me to the elaboration of the strategy.

In this opportunity, I will explain how I faced a Silver league ranked battle in the Modern format, focusing on highlighting the importance of taking into account the rule set to form our strategies. In addition to the set of skills we want to combine.

Since these aspects are a key factor with a considerable impact on the performance of our strategies.

Let's talk about the set of rules present in the battle, this is the starting point to begin the analysis that will lead us to the most appropriate choice to face the battle.

Mana limit equal to 44 points, this amount gives us slack for the choice of legendary summoners, and some strong monsters with the remaining mana.

Briar Patch is a rule that grants the ability "Thorns" to all monsters present in the battle. So, taking all these aspects into account, I decided to combine the Dragon and Water Splinters to apply a strategy with the summoner Lily Shieldpaw and the monster Baakjira.

Let's talk about the equipment, and the strategy it conforms. Given the circumstances of the battle, it was advisable to use magic or ranged damage, which is why the importance of countering them arises. So I decided to use the summoner Lily Shieldpaw in order to concentrate all the enemy damage in the first position of my team through the "Camouflage" ability it provides. Likewise, I also took advantage of the life point it adds to the whole team, and the support through the "Triage" skill.

Vrux occupied the first position temporarily in order to increase Baakjira's attributes through his "Martyr" skill.

Baakjira was the tank this time, since she has a good amount of life, and the abilities: "Void", "Slow" and "Strengthen". These allow him to resist magic damage, reduce the speed of the enemy team by 1 point, and increase the life of the whole team by 1 point, respectively.

Tide Biter occupied the third position to contribute damage from the second row once it moved to the second position. It should be noted that this would be possible thanks to his "Reach" ability. On the other hand, his "Reflection Shield" skill allows him to avoid the effects of the "Thorns" skill, and protect the rest of the team from possible damage with the "Blast" skill.

Merdaali Guardian took the fourth position with the purpose of supporting Baakjira with his "Tank Heal" skill.

Chaos Dragon occupied the fifth position with the purpose of weakening the enemy second row by means of his abilities: "Scattershot" and "Blast".

Oshuur Constantia occupied the last position with the purpose of reviving "Vrux" with her "Resurrect" ability to increase Baakjira's attributes for the second time with her "Martyr" ability. Likewise, she also contributed with her damage from the second row.

As I mentioned before, using a summoner to concentrate all the enemy damage in the first position of my team was a good option. It is also important to include support abilities that allow our tank and the rest of the team to resist enough.

Notice how by turn 5 of round 5, the enemy team was almost down. Vrux fulfilled the objective of increasing Baakjira's attributes 2 times. Also, Baakjira in conjunction with the assistance of Merdaali Guardian resisted enemy damage during the battle. On the other hand, Chaos Dragon managed to weaken the enemy team with the help of Oshuur Constantia and Tide Biter.

The strategy proposed made efficient use of the amount of mana available, covering aspects such as: resistance against enemy damage, team support, a good offensive, and coherence with the present set of rules.

A weakness of this strategy is an enemy offensive based on high ranged damage, as it could overcome Baakjira's resistance capacity, strongly unbalancing the strategy.

The difference between the strategies was that the enemy did not use support abilities such as: "Tank Heal" and "Triage" to increase the resistance of their monsters. Nor did he use the "Affliction" skill to nullify the healing ability of my strategy.

For a proper synergy of our strategies it is important to consider all the aspects involved, so we should not only focus on the attributes and skills to combine. We must also take into account the influence of the rule sets on the strategy.
