Hola amigos de @family-friends, ¿cómo esta empezando el mes? Espero que muy bien y esté mes de mayo venga lleno de bendiciones, y todas nuestra metas se puedan cumplir, mucho ánimo, recuerden que todo se puede. Hoy les quiero compartir un día increíble entre amigos y familia, en esta ocasión nos fuimos a turistear al Monumento Manto de Maria Divina Pastora.

Lots of encouragement, remember that everything is possible. Today I want to share an incredible day with friends and family. This time we went sightseeing to the Monumento Manto de María Divina Pastora.

Mi primo estaba de visita por aquí en la ciudad, y entre solo descansar en la casa, estábamos muy aburridos sin nada que hacer, así que nos pusimos a pensar que podíamos hacer, algún plan sencillo en la ciudad. Se nos ocurrió convertirnos en turistas e ir al Monumento de la Divina Pastora, que se encuentra aquí en Barquisimeto, al este de la ciudad, el plan perfecto de un fin de semana tranquilo.

My cousin was visiting here in the city, and just resting at home, we were very bored with nothing to do, so we started thinking about what we could do, a simple plan in the city. We came up with the idea of becoming tourists and going to the Monumento de la Divina Pastora, which is located here in Barquisimeto, in the east of the city — the perfect plan for a quiet weekend.

Planeamos la salida desde la noche anterior, y para nuestra sorpresa, a la mañana siguiente amaneció lloviendo, pero aún así, no nos desanimamos, y aun así nos alistamos para nuestra aventura. Salimos de las casa, y nos dirigimos al este de la ciudad entre la llovizna, como siempre el viaje super animado entre charlas.

We planned the outing the night before, and to our surprise, the next morning it was raining, but even so, we didn’t get discouraged, and still got ready for our adventure. We left the house and headed east of the city in the drizzle, as always the trip was super lively with conversations.

Al llegar, primero pasas por la seguridad del lugar, y pagamos la entrada. Hay muchos puestos de estacionamiento, y elegimos de los más cercanos a la entrada, para evitar mojarnos con la lluvia, sin embargo, fue en vano. Al cruzar la entrada, empezamos a subir una colina para llegar al monumento, aquí nos encontramos con diversos locales de recuerdos, y artesanías, sobre el estado Lara, además muchos puestos de comida, que Lucía muy apetitosa.

When we arrived, we first went through the security checkpoint and paid the entrance fee. There are many parking spaces, and we chose one of the closest to the entrance to avoid getting wet in the rain — however, it was in vain. After crossing the entrance, we started climbing a hill to get to the monument. Here we found various souvenir and handicraft shops about the state of Lara, as well as many food stalls that looked very appetizing.

Para este punto, hay muchos hermosos lugares para sacar fotos, pero seguimos nuestro camino. Al terminar de subir, nos recibió el monumento en todo su esplendor, era una vista impresionante, nos pudimos haber quedado ahí, pero yo tenia otros planes.

At this point, there are many beautiful places to take pictures, but we continued on our way. When we finished the climb, the monument greeted us in all its splendor. It was an impressive sight — we could have stayed there, but I had other plans.

Nos emprendimos en la aventura de subir las escaleras hasta la punta del monumento, existe la opción de subir en ascensor, pero ese día no estaba disponible. Subir las escaleras fue muy divertido, además entre cada tres pisos habían unos miradores, que te permiten ver el monumento de la virgen desde adentro de la torre. A medida que subíamos las personas se veían más pequeñas, todo el trayecto fue muy entretenido, y un poco cansado, pero valió la pena cuando llegamos a este pasillo, con múltiples ventanas con vista a toda la ciudad, se podía sentir la fuerte brisa, una sensación muy chevere llegar hasta ahí.

We set out on the adventure of climbing the stairs to the top of the monument. There is an option to take the elevator, but that day it wasn’t available. Climbing the stairs was very fun, and every three floors there were lookout points that allow you to see the Virgin’s monument from inside the tower. As we went up, people below looked smaller and smaller. The whole journey was very entertaining, and a bit tiring, but it was worth it when we reached this hallway with multiple windows overlooking the entire city. You could feel the strong breeze — it was a really cool feeling to get there.

Pero aún no era el final, al subir un poco mas llegamos a la parte más alta, sin techo que nos separe del cielo. El recorrido valió totalmente la pena. Al bajar nos tomamos más fotos, es un ambiente bastante agradable, a pesar de la llovizna pudimos disfrutar sin problema, incluso agradecimos que no hubiera calor, ni casi sol.

But it wasn’t the end yet — going up a bit more, we reached the highest part, with no roof separating us from the sky. The whole tour was totally worth it. On the way down, we took more pictures — it’s a very pleasant atmosphere, and despite the drizzle we were able to enjoy it without any problem. We even appreciated that there was no heat or strong sun.

Sin duda con las personas correctas se puede disfrutar de una tarde tranquila, un plan super sencillo, pero que disfrute muchísimo. Espero les haya gustado mi post, y esta pequeña aventura, me despido personas de esta hermosa comunidad, un fuerte abrazo.
