Hive Around The World: A Small Corner of Me (eng/spa)

On this last day of the initiative, it's my turn to share a small part of myself, my hobby. Throughout my life, I’ve had many hobbies. Since I was a child, I liked doing different things; however, the only one that has remained over the years is my love for drawing, although I have to be honest, I don’t always practice it.

Since I was a child, I’ve been good at drawing—I don’t know how—but I’ve never been consistent enough to take it to the next level. I’ve never been good at drawing from imagination; that has always frustrated me a bit, so I like to draw using some visual reference.

I like drawing people, almost always with graphite pencil; I’ve never liked coloring, not even when I was a child. Drawing from time to time is rewarding—I should do it more often and set a goal to improve.

En este último día de la iniciativa, me toca compartir una pequeña parte de mi persona, mi hobby. A lo largo de mi vida he tenido muchos hobbys, desde niña me gustó hacer distintas cosas, sin embargo, la única que ha permanecido con los años, es mi gusto por dibujar, aunque tengo que ser sincera, no lo práctico siempre.

Desde niña se me dio bien dibujar, no se como, pero nunca he sido lo suficientemente constante como para llevarlo al siguiente nivel. Nunca he sido buena para dibujar desde la imaginación, eso siempre me ha frustrado un poco, así que me gusta dibujar con alguna referencia visual.

Me gusta dibujar personas, casi siempre con lápiz de grafito; nunca me ha gustado colorear, ni cuando era niña. Dibujar de vez en cuando es gratificante, debería hacerlo más seguido y fijarme alguna meta para mejorar.
