For a few days now, my sister and I had been planning to go out and buy an air conditioner since the heat in our city has become unbearable. But not just any AC—we needed one for the living and dining room of our apartment. So, @ariwang researched several options to find the most suitable one for us and our needs. We didn’t want to overspend on a unit that was larger than necessary.

Desde hace unos días mi hermana y yo estábamos planeando salir a comprar un aire acondicionado, ya que, se ha vuelto necesario por el calor que está haciendo en nuestra ciudad. Pero no es un aire común, sino, para la sala y comedor de nuestro departamento, así que @ariwang estuvo buscando entre varias opciones, para saber cual era el más conveniente para nosotras y el uso que le vamos a dar, ya que no queríamos malgastar en un aire acondicionado más grande de lo que debería de ser.

We finally decided to buy it at Ivoo, a well-known appliance store in the country where we've purchased many things before. We headed straight there in the morning and found the air conditioner we wanted in stock. One of the store’s advisors greeted us and provided excellent service, explaining all the features and helping us make our final decision.

Y así nos decidimos a comprarlo en ivoo, es una tienda de electrodomésticos muy reconocida en el país, y ya hemos comprado muchas cosas ahí. Salimos en la mañana directamente a ivoo, y comprobamos que si tenían disponible el aire acondicionado que queríamos, desde que entramos nos atendió super bien uno de sus asesores, nos habló de las características y nos convenció.

The purchasing process was super quick compared to other stores of this type. After signing the invoice, we were able to take the appliance home right away.

El proceso de compra fue super rapido a comparación de otras tiendas de este tipo. Nos dieron y firmaron la factura, y nos pudimos llevar el electrodoméstico.

Since we were getting hungry, we made a stop at the Churún Merú mall. One of our go-to places to eat there is "Kilo Gourmet", an arepa shop that’s been around for a long time. They offer many great options at good prices, always saving us in moments like this. We ordered three Kilua empanadas—these are stuffed with grilled meat and cheese, and just one is enough to leave you full.

Nos dio hambre, así que hicimos una parada en el centro comercial Churún Merú, de nuestro lugares para comer ahí es Kilo Gourmet, es una arepera que lleva mucho tiempo, ofrece muchas opciones a buenos precios, y siempre nos saca de apuros como este. Nos pedimos tres empandas, llamada la kilua, es una empanda rellena de parrilla y queso, con una de estas quedas super satisfecho.

Usually, there’s little to no wait time, but they were making the empanadas fresh, so we had to wait a bit. The food court has a nice atmosphere, so we didn’t mind. When our order arrived, we enjoyed our meal—it was freshly made and absolutely delicious.

Usualmente no hay casi tiempo de espera, sin embargo apenas las estaban haciendo, así que tuvimos que esperar un poco. El ambiente en la área de comida del centro comercial es chevere, así que no hay problema en esperar un poco, cuando llego nuestra orden comimos tranquilamente, estaban recién echas, y buenísimas.

After finishing our empanadas, we headed to Multimax to buy a cover for the air conditioner, as they have some of the best prices. We also checked out some new arrivals that weren’t there before, like closets and shelves that I found super cute for my room, as well as vanities and TV stands.

Después de degustar nuestras empanadas, nos fuimos a multimax a comprar un protector para el aire acondicionado, ya que es de los lugares que los tienes a mejor precio. Vimos cositas nuevas que han llegado, que no habían antes, como closet, y repisas que me parecieron super lindas para mi cuarto, también peinadoras y bases para televisor.

To wrap up the day, we went grocery shopping at Makro, as we always do—though I forgot to take pictures 😅. I’ll make sure to do it next time!

Para concluir fuimos a hacer mercado en makro, como siempre pero se me olvido sacar fotitos 😅, será para la próxima.
