We have a day trip to the beach, it’s a hot day, and we decided to have a quick family drive to Port Dickson. The sky was blue, and the wind was soft. We bring towels, food, water, and we buy on the way to the beach, and we also bring clothes to change into in our travel bags. The kids were very happy. They laughed a lot in the car. We are so excited to get to the beach. And we got to the beach, the sun was still high. The air smelled like salt. The waves made a calm sound. All our things are put on a mat under the tree. And the kids ran on the sand with bare feet. The beach was clean and wide. The sea was shiny in the sunlight. It looked like it had diamonds on the water. It was a perfect day. Soon, we all went into the sea. The water was not too cold. It felt nice. The kids playing splashed in the water and laughed. They played and made small waves. And I swam slowly and smiled. The salty water touched my skin. It felt fresh. My youngest daughter tasted the salt, but she didn’t mind.

All the kids are wearing the floaties and all are floating by them own in the water and looking at the sky. The clouds were moving slowly. And they are so amazed that they saw a small boat pass far away. The father showed the boat to the little boy, and the boy waved. After swimming, they came out of the water. Our skin was salty, and our hair was wet. We have some snacks like chips and water to munch on, they will sit on the mat and watch the sea while having them. The waves came and went. The wind was cool, and we were all so happy. Later, the sky started to change. The sun was going down. The light turned gold. They quickly went back into the water one more time. The water looked different now. It had orange and gold colors from the sky. The waves were slow. The air felt cooler. And we stay close together. We have to hold the kids’ hands. Everything was so beautiful. Then the sunset started. The sun touched the sea. It’s looked like a big orange round going down. And the sky turned red, orange, and pink. The sea had all the same colors. It looked like a painting.

I take some photos, then put my phone away. “Let’s just enjoy this,” because I want. to create a joyful moment. We stood in the water, holding hands, and it was so much fun. The sun slowly went away. The stars started to shine. The sea got dark, but it was still quiet and calm. The wind was soft. I can see the kids' faces that not enough of swim yet, but it was time to go. We walked back to our mat. And the kids were sleepy. And I dried them and gave them dry clothes. And I started packing everything slowly. On the way, we stop by the KFC to have our dinner, then we start driving back home. And in the car, the kids fell asleep. My husband and I looked at each other and smiled. It was a simple day. Just the sea, the sun, and our family. But it was a very special day. A day full of love and joy. Sometimes, simple days are the best days. The day trip to Port Dickson is remarkable, this kind of bonding we always look forward to, and we really have a lot of happiness. We don’t have to go so far and have a long travel to have a beautiful beach spot; we are just a 45-minute drive to the beach.
