Operations Research/Binary Knapsack is indeed a useful mathematical concept used in resolving complex real-life problems. I'm sure it's been put to good use in most of the fields that require the solving of complex poroblems like business, logistics, etc. I wonder if the men that created binary Knapsack got any kind of awards for their efforts. Thanks for the lesson.
