Runi (Runicore) NFT Card is still in my Wishlist...

Sometimes in this cryptocurrency market, we have to wait longer and despite waiting for this long period, we can not say when there will be the time or the opportunity we are waiting for. We wait for certain assets to go down or up because we have some plans for that and it depends upon the market how things move. Here I am talking about the RUNI NFT card which is one of the valuable assets in the splinterlands game. I think it has been almost a year since the launch of this nft card in the game and I was not lucky enough to get whitelisted in the beginning So I thought that I will be able to buy it later from the market but till now I haven't got the opportunity to get it.

It was available for 0.19 Ethereum for those who were whitelisted and undoubtedly this price was a great deal for everyone lucky enough to get the slot in the initial sale. I keep on checking the price in the market from time to time just in case to see if there is a better price available I can think of buying but even after doing it for many months, I haven't got the price I'm looking for.

Runi - My plan to buy

I want to buy one Runi NFT and I have been eyeing a better price since the beginning of this year but till now I could not get the opportunity and it has been more than six months approximately. The current price is approximately 0.29 Ethereum in the market whereas I'm expecting it to go below 0.25 Ethereum. This NFT card is listed on the opensea marketplace and the only coin we can use to buy is ETH since this is the base coin on this market.

I can see that a lot of people are listing their NFT assets on this platform and even people are making offers to buy at some price but look like nobody is ready to select the price offered by the buyers. If we look into the below snapshot then you'll find out that the current market price is approximately 0.29 Ethereum whereas people are offering approximately 0.25 and for this price, no seller is ready to sell.

What Makes Runi Powerful and Valuable?

First of all, RUNI is the first ever n ft card on the Ethereum blockchain by the splinterlands and even we do not know if they are planning to bring another card on the same chain. We can say that this experiment has been a success because the card is still trading at a much higher value than it was sold and the majority of the people are holding their cards even if they are trading then also they are doing it at a higher price which is good for the overall card economy. Another good part is that this is not just a regular NFT instead it is one of the cards that can also be used in the game and it brings multiple powerful abilities because of which we can play better battles. I have no playing experience with this card so cannot comment on that however it is something that must be making the overall battle experience so much fun.

Why I want to have it

I own almost every asset in the game including lands node validator licence booster packs etc and now this is the only asset that I am not holding in my portfolio. as I have already mentioned in my previous post that I am bullish on this game because I see it going quite high in terms of monetary growth as compared to what we can see now. Since I want to own every asset with a certain quantity so I do not want to miss out on this NFT which can be a great value addition to my portfolio. undoubtedly the battle play is also one of the factors that I am considering but above all my focus to have to RUni is because its a quiet and valuable NFT card in the game. Usually, assets, that are unique in the ecosystem and have very limited quantity get more value appreciation and with this I expect the same since it has got limited quantity and is a unique asset in the game. I know that every card in this game is an NFT but this one is different and not like others so we cannot compare this nft card with other ones.

I have not given up on this and continue to keep an eye on the price and even now I am thinking to make an offer. You never know if I can get that all of a sudden as a surprise so making an offer can be a good option to go for so I will think about it and do it accordingly. I have never traded any night on this marketplace so I will go through the options to understand the steps but I'm sure that the process is going to be smooth and it should be executed through a non-custodial wallet like metamask. Let's see when I get the opportunity to get this valuable NFT asset that I want and to be honest I don't know how much time it is going to take.
