Summer Mountains

Sun, clouds, and quiet valleys: four views of Kopaonik National Park, Serbia.

Somewhere there’s sun, somewhere there’s rain, and somewhere beneath it all, a small village lies hidden in the pine woods, quietly waiting for the weather to turn. Clouds draw shadows across the slopes, the light returns for a moment and slips away again — all of it unfolding at once, like different states of the same landscape.

There’s nothing complicated here, yet it’s this quiet simplicity that reminds me, time and again, why I love summer mountains.
